Mash 125cc Scrambler - the build process

  • Last year I got to help my nephew get his first bike.
    It's a Mash Seventy-Five (2013) 125cc with only 600km on the odometer.
It was totally standard and worked fine, but it had some parts that started rusting.
We painted the side panels and tank in metallic red, the fenders and headlight in gloss black. The rusty bits got the same black treatment.
The seat was bought from the same manufacturer so it was a perfect fit, that way the frame did not have to be adapted and repainted.
We added LED indicators and taillight, a smaller speedometer, a headlight grill, mounted flat handlebars, brown grips, made a license plate holder and wrapped the exhaust pipe.
All that combined with a thorough clean made for a very affordable, fun and easy project.

What a beauty! Although this is more of a café racer style than a scrambler.

actually the bike IS small, I own the 125ccm Mash Scrambler and it is the same size as this one... they aren't that big or tall

Love it! where did you get the Flat handle bar from? been thinking of buying myself a 2nd hand Seventy Five and putting the Café Racer sadle on it with the same Handle bar you used. Found a 2017 model , but it already has 6600km's on it , so i hope those engines are bit decent

Salut Thomas! J'aime beaucoup les modifs apportées à la Seventy Five. Aurais-tu une liste des pièces détachées que tu as acheté pour réaliser ce petit custom? Je cherche à faire quelque chose de similaire. Merci à toi 😀

I think it was a 2-pole version, so I ordered two or three on ebay and they worked. It's too long ago so I don't remember the details.
