I want to drive it as well, but only choice at the moment is the skate park and it will not have its first run there. This is the wettest run up to Christmas I have known, we do not seem to go a day without rain and sometimes like Saturday it poured down for over 12hrs. If we have a few day dryer I will try Puck lane to try it out.
A screw driver and push small amounts in at a time. Then push the plunger in slowly. Just do not try and fill it works for me. A tooth brush too big but there must be something smaller. But I do not change diff grease very often.
Wholly gears batman! Yeah you only need a thin coat of the grease on the gears some people fill the diffs up all the way and it ends up blowing all out when the diff gets used and spins up!
Just started this video series today, just watched the unboxing, fun stuff! Just wondering, is the antiwear grease available to purchase or do you only get it in the boxes? Or are there good alternatives instead of the antiwear grease? In the unboxing you talked about using marine grease instead of, something, I guess its not instead of the antiwear grease? Of course, I might get the answer to that in the coming videos, but not sure if its filmed or mentioned when used. Oh and also, the grease in the syringe, that you use on the outside of the diffs, is that marine grease or something else? Any tips you got for me? 😃
You can buy Tamiya anti-wear grease but it's not cheap and what I use came with kits but you do not get much. There are other brands but never used them. The normal grease there is never enough in a kit, I have been using Marine grease for years I buy a large tin and it lasts years. In the syringe is marine grease, I do that as it's a little less messy to work with that way when greasing the gears..
I like aw grease in diffs to really nice Mal i will get one after Christmas i really want to drive this one

@@BasBoyRC So much the better 😉
Good to see the gears being assembled. How do you refill your syringe? I have the same one and get in a terrible mess trying to refill it.

The gears are a thing of beauty just love it. The AWG not too much needed and it spreads fast.
I use a very had bristle little brush and actually paint on a thin layer of the AW grease on the gears and parts. @@BasBoyRC
@@ShenRC I do not have a brush like that so I do little dabs.
@@BasBoyRC Toothbrush ?
Good tutorial 👌
Thank You 🙂
