This is pretty cool. I used to collect tech decks when they originally came out in the late 90’s. I have about 200 decks from between 1999 and 2008. I also have a bunch of skatepark pieces from that same time. I’m 28 now but I’m glad I held onto them. I want to save them for my kids to play with.
Dude I did the same I have the original Tony hawk half pipe with the loop the original phone box I have an original first generation tech deck that doesn’t even have the word tech deck on the grip tape it’s a world industries battle board. My son loves them and the finger bikes
I'm 30 and I got rid of all my old ones. Just started collecting them again, but am very interested in the real wood stuff as of late! Need to cop a pro series deck to try
A big thing I've realized is that people like myself slam and try to pop WAY too expectedly hard, and that's what I love about fingerboarding so far, you can't be a brute with it
I still have some unopened tech decks from like 99/2000 when I was just a wee lad. It's really awesome to see that its bigger than ever and that the company is taking itself more seriously than ever as well
The problem with the concrete ramp is after it dries, it crumbles and makes a mess, even carrying it from one place to another. Small bits and pieces fall onto the floor and get on the socks and tracks onto the carpet. It's very hard to get it out of carpet as it's soft and gets smooshed in. It doesn't really dry it still has moisture in it. It looks cool but is not at all practical.
The fact that this can fall apart if it gets to warm is kind of a deal breaker, i was thinking you could make a whole skate park or something but not if this will just get soft again. Great concept, they just have to come up with a better solution for the "concrete"
i think its real cool, to make other molds you could just take some of your other tech deck ramps and put the concrete in that, i do think it wold be cool if you could by the concrete on its won tho...
cool video, my 1 recommendation. maybe do a little bit of a pressure test, and sound test. Im curies the actual material, how tough it is, and sound/pressure would help with that great job!
I promise I’m not hating but this thing crumbles and falls apart. It’s not good. It was cool for a few minutes until the concrete started chipping and then the whole thing cracked in half. They shouldn’t have used “reusable concrete”. I was so stoked to get this too
They definitely did an awesome job with this DIY few things they could of added 1-(some form of metal) for coping/rail to add on 2-adding or making bigger DIY concrete packs 3-its a little unnecessary but a sort of wax so you are not destroying your decks/trucks but other than that the video was tits and this DIY was tits help me out with a deck or 2 I'm all about trades and good feedback from other fingerboarders I'm looking for creature decks I've got a crap load of enjoi decks lmk
Love it! Thanks for the review!

I'm 23 and have 12 ultra rare ones still in the box 😅
Tech decks issue is still, scale. It's cool that they're advancing, but their obstacles are just too small.
True
A big thing I've realized is that people like myself slam and try to pop WAY too expectedly hard, and that's what I love about fingerboarding so far, you can't be a brute with it
I think the problem is the grip tape
I agree
Behold: the Aaron Kyro of fingerboarding
No sir. Thats David Jones
Just fingerboard
@@charlottetrue8908 you

I’m a sponsored skateboarder from the San Francisco Bay Area
At 2:36 I thought my man was about to fire up .. .🤣🤣

What kind of nerd kid buys toys and doesn't open them? Toys are supposed to be played with.
@@andrewnicon nerd kids that plan on having big bucks when their nerd adults.
@@andrewniconits called collections buddy
It would be nice if tech deck made their packaging into a cutout obstacles
Agree
5:59 that WOOO matches this perfectly
fr
I love that tech deck is becoming a more professional brand nice job alex
When you buy
The plastic ramp could be cool with other cement or wood if you use the putty to make your own addition
Thank you for doing this me and my dad had to use this for my tech deck this really helped us!

Use real concrete with the molds
Bingo
when you havent heard of tech decks since like 5 years ago LOLL
👇
6:00 I loved the woo the second you did an imposiboe 😂
I’m a big fan
Sick bro keep it up!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

2:36 I thought that was the ZA 😂🔥
I love the new performance series really goes to show much tech deck is starting to become a more professional brand :)
Got one the other day crazy how much better then normal tech decks it is
Wow. Your channel has grown. Keep it up man. You deserve it💯🔥🤘!
💯
Chicken nuggets!!
I recall tech deck using legit metal railing on their ramps in 00s example the Tony hawk park but now what the heck they went cheaper nowadays
Does it need wax or is it smooth enough
Thought Tech Deck was shipping that Afghan Kush there for a moment.
you could try and 3d print some molds.
When will the finger board restock happen I’m hyped for it❤❤🎉🎉
looks like a neat obstacle for begginers. They should make a simple flat ledge type of mould like those flat ledges in denmark street spot
Looks fun!
Cool editing. I really like it
And also fun fact, you can actually use the mold as a ramp if you want to grind on that
Wow this is awesome for me now since I am a new fingerboard this is awesome they are making new obstacles
Dude if you got a 3D printer to print your own molds to work with this cement you could make some sick custom ramps
Looks like bud nugs at first in the bag lol
I was about to say was it skunky
Take a long knife after filling the mold and drag it across the bottom side to remove the acces and make it realy smooth
Very cool DIY concrete obstacle. I wish they had it at my local Walmart..I live in Vancouver.. I’ll go check toys r us.
What was the music you used to in the beginning, probably like 1:35
Techdeck probably stepping up their quality because there's actually competition now lol.
Do I have a TECHDECK? No. Am I going to watch a video on DIY TECHDECK concrete? Yes.
cool video, my 1 recommendation. maybe do a little bit of a pressure test, and sound test. Im curies the actual material, how tough it is, and sound/pressure would help with that
great job!
That is very sick I subbed with post notis
techdeck you need to hire this dude
They should make a kit where u can make your own tech deck like a fingerboard kit
How are you gonna make your own tech deck if they made of plastic (no hate sorry if I sound mean)
@Artemis37 Oh cool
I promise I’m not hating but this thing crumbles and falls apart. It’s not good. It was cool for a few minutes until the concrete started chipping and then the whole thing cracked in half. They shouldn’t have used “reusable concrete”. I was so stoked to get this too
love the videos ur the reason I got in to finger bordering but I have a cheap plastic o but it's still fun
You can use the mold as an actual obstacle, not a mold.
)
Cool
Your so close to 100k!!! I’ve been here since 28 k!!!
Do a video on what bushings to buy.
first papa

Great video!
How do I get a fingerboard like that?
Yo man love ur vids
“Sketchy” lmaooo
I saw another video and they used real cement in the mold. It looked and worked a lot better.
Bro where do you put you tech deck parcks
I have that and when i did a kickflip my borad did a double kickflip
Okay but who else thought what I did what he opened the bag and showed the inside
They definitely did an awesome job with this DIY few things they could of added
1-(some form of metal) for coping/rail to add on
2-adding or making bigger DIY concrete packs
3-its a little unnecessary but a sort of wax so you are not destroying your decks/trucks but other than that the video was tits and this DIY was tits help me out with a deck or 2 I'm all about trades and good feedback from other fingerboarders I'm looking for creature decks I've got a crap load of enjoi decks lmk
Hi
It’s cool, but I wish TD would make things more scale. That things would go better with that super micro tech deck they made back in the day.
bro when he opened the concrete i thought it was za
Lfmao same I was like wait….
really cool
When I seen INSIDE the bag
👁👁
I have no idea what I did to get my algorithm to show me this video, but nice job anyway.
I think he should customize it to make it look super cool in another video.
it looked like za for a second when he opened the bag XD
Can you do the best board setup under 60 dollars pls ❤
60 bucks, buy a real board
We used to play skate during ap bio downtime. Ahh the good old days.
cool video
How would it survive a hot summer day?
It’s not allowing me to join the Discord it said expired
That concrete is delicious
4:55 You didn't change your shirt the next day?
You can easily make your own molds
2:37 “loud pack”
Yay I saw that in the store earlier
Where do you find this music
I SAY THAT YOUR VIDEO IS SOO COOL AKA COOL VIDEO THAT IT IS SO COOL AKA COO
Omg I saw that at Walmart today
POV him let’s check this out and see what the hype is about grinds on the box
Not me using my phone as a jump obstacle😂😂
Bro became relatable
I’d love to see your review on the neon mega park from tech deck
Is it durable?
Does it scratch up your board 🛹
You ever sit there and think " I could do this outside with a real board?"
They need to make wood decks
Sick
i saw like 5 ads of this in the 3 videos i have watched today
From toys to fingerboard toys
