Did you end up getting it im on my adventure now and trying to figure out how to grind the materials ahead of time i did a train run of LWS4 events with a squad earlier but i dont think thats ALL i need to do anyway hope you got yours!
I found you can actually skip the meta in Elon Riverlands by climbing up the backside of the Hall of Ascension where the vista is, there's steps you can climb with your springer until you see the marker is close and you are on the same level as it, then you can use an extra pungent treat to complete it and skipping the meta entirely.
Man, I can't believe you not only had the stones to run on that sand bridge, but actually teleported on it a couple of times! It gave me a bit of vertigo. I had to walk with one hand on the mouse and the other clutching my temples. Thanks for another great, super helpful video Tate!

Good guide. However the order in which the Jackal portals transport you has changed (timer @ 11:00). Might be easier to just work your way up to the last portal in that chamber (timer @ 11:10) using the Springer mount and portal onward from there.
I think you have the wrong moment where the issue is Member Berry. The portal below the fall off of the long skinny platform is the issue. It does not take you to the same spot now. The platform you want is to the right of the long skinny platform. You can springer to it, up and over the portal Common Tate comes out of after falling through the changed portal. Or do you mean after falling through the portal he hits one to his left as he comes out?
its different now for some reason. When you go through the bottom portal, it sends you through a portal that is way above that bottom portal. the goal is to use dog ability to get across to a portal thats in front of you a ways away. that will put you at the next part.

Good guide but if you get stuck like me and don't know why the Skyscale Lost achievement isn't opening up, it's because your bugged (aka don't have a 400 chef). I purchased an extra-pungent skyscale treat from the market, went back to Sun's Refuge and talked to Gorrik. Bam it opened up!

I will feed my baby SkyScale her last four pieces of meat tomorrow, and then it's off to the Troublesome questline. I greatly appreciate your guides, as it's my crutch when I get in a bind such as when I searched high and low for "masticated" treats. I had several "tasty" treats, but none of them actually said "masticated," so I thought the RNG gods where simply being unkind. I almost threw out the lot, but double checked your video first. Yeah for the Kusini Crossing Jumping Puzzle ( Jackal Portals) .. don't even bother trying to figure out how to get to the top. just get to the highest point of the side hills, make sure you can see the marker up top from where you are standing then use the extra pungent right there and the Skyscale will come to you.
The 6:01 lost skyscale requires a group to complete in 2022. You have to spawn a "Ley line" elite mob in order to free the skyscale. So its not soloable.
As someone mentioned in another comment, you can use the Extrapungent Treat AFTER interacting with the track so you won't have to kill the elite mob to progress.
That Branded Boss fight is just ridiculous! You weren't kidding when u said bring some friends! Stuff like that snaps me back to reality every time I am on the verge of thumbs upping this game. Just way over developed when it should be fun, under when it should be challenging!
So when you get to the Jackal portal part you can cheese it if you don't have the mount. You can glide onto the large circular platform with all the pillars on it, springer jump onto the tallest pillar closest to the skyscale, get as close to the edge of the pillar as you can, jump towards the skyscale and if you see "Come on out!" then when you land on the ground you can use a skyscale treat to lure out the skyscale regardless of how far you are from it. This also works on the next part where you just springer jump to the very tip top of the pyramid, then springer jump towards the skyscale and once you see "Come on out!" lure it with a treat when you land.
FYI, IF you happen to defeat the Ley-Line Anomaly, you HAVE to be sure to interact with the Skyscale or you won't get credit for it at ALL! What a total waste of time.
If you need to, get close to the area where the skyscale is and use the extra-pungent skyscale treat and he will come to you, if you are doing it alone or if the event you need is not up this will help
Love your videos, hate jumping puzzles sadly, but you helped me figure out how many extra pungent skyscale treats I needed to avoid the really annoying ones since clearly I have not touched most of them and don't intend to hopefully :)
Oh thank goodness for this, I'm a returning player and I'm only up to feeding the baby in the nest. I was worried I'd have to wait a further 20 days to craft all the treats because I thought it was necessary and not optional. Good to know I could keep a few handy if I wanted to skip any puzzles! (FYI I'm awful at gw2 jumping puzzles lol)
so am i, they are some of the most frustrating content in any game ive played. if you have the means i highly recommend getting: Prototype Position Rewinder. this allows you to set a timed spot to recall to over short distances. it has been the single best ingame purchase i have made and worth every point of karma that it cost.
Stuck at 6:00 since there's a champion forgotten ley-line anomaly with 1 million hp, AoE and reflecting projectiles. Nobody is doing this boss because it's in the corner of the map and very annoying to get to. Love it when Anet designs things expecting there will always be big groups of people doing it years down the line.
You can use the extra pungent skyscale treat for the location at 6 minutes in also and avoid the fight with the ley line anomolay. It' s a Pain to get to that place and getting a group to do it at the same time? Not fun. I didn't see it listed by someone else already though. I should've started making charged quartz crystals weeks ago lol.
11:00 if you have griffon you can just climb the tower using griffon and springer, I'm just using his video as to know what maps to go to as I can skip a lot of pathing he does by using the griffon.

that branded ley line anomally takes sooooo long... if you don't have anyone to help you with it take some long ranged weapons and something that grants you speed. and be ready to spend a long time there, so be patient. halfway throught a person showed up and helped me, and it still took forever.
If you're reading this: don't get frustrated by the jackal puzzle and waste money on the pungent. I just did it myself after a little trial and error, not sure any guides are up to date. That being said, there aren't a whole lot of options which it can be. It took me maybe 5 minutes to figure it out, it's not half bad. Unless you're loaded. Then you might as well use pungent.
For all those who don´t want to wait for the event you can jup as high as you can on the right side of the rock and use pungent skyscale treats and the skyscale will come outside and you get the achievement :)

tec today so wierd ! i was LOOKING FOR this lost sky scale ion elon riverland and i wrote this lost skyscale augury rock and it just put this video ON it time like wtf im shooked!
I get why they had you do the Golem MK2 for the Roller Beetle, thematically you were trying to get some tech for the saddle. But why for the Skyscale? And why having to do the Augury Rock again? They should have targeted other content, I don't mind these collections, and I really like when you get to go to places you might not have been in years, so that really should have been considered. What I don't like so much is the time gates... I'm just here waiting for tomorrow, I get delayed gratification is a thing, but damn...
I'm solo'ing the Champion Branded Ley-Line Anomaly with my Necro and OMG, it took 10 minutes to get him down to 90% health. I'm taking damage but health is going right back up...wow it's going to take at least and hour and a half lol, hopefully someone will come help kill it with me...I has no fwiends.

For all the gryffon guys out there, First do the pyramid and you can easily fly from the pyramid to the sanctum :)

For brand ley line champion you can use treat after you interact with skyscale tracks
In the desert jumping puzzle I stood on the hill as this guy and used my extra pungent , it worked and saved me from spending hours on the puzzle.

can i skip EVERY QUEST by using the special treat ? like buy 23 or so treats and just go to the area and use one?

You can actually fly with your griffon to the spot at 11:23 from the griffon roost by the temple of Kormir waypoint.

if someone dosnt have the chacal like me, you can climb untill the rabbit part and then call it with the treat. it worked for me
