It would be nice if we get a DLC on the first anniversary and an announcement of a sequel for next year. Who know....
Their twitter statement is "In the lead-up to one year of Synapse we'll be sharing some never seen before content over the next few weeks..."
The "sharing" and "over the next few weeks" sounds like it's multiple bits of content shared over twitter, rather than a single update to the game itself. I wouldn't get my hopes up.
That said, happy for this awesome game to get some more attention.
Gotta concur with you here. They aren't toying with us via vague hints about the possibility of more game. It's clearly a behind the curtain feature with some development images and short clips.
I'd pay a DLC full price right now. This is one of the most important and amazing VR game of 2023, and in all VR history.
Synapse is the best rouge lite ever. Incredible game. and really shows off the PSVR2 well. Id be happy to pay for DLC

It’s probably just behind the scenes stuff. Either way, Synapse is my favorite Roguelite on PSVR2.
If dev diaries and behind the scenes insights are something you're interested in, then this upcoming Synapse stuff is just for you. But if it's an expansion you're after, you might as well roll your eyes now as that's not happening. Personally I'm curious about the 18-month production for this, what with them having to familiarise themselves with new tech and working for a Sony-funded project.

You can climb almost anywhere, I don't think people realised it. You can grab and drag yourself to all sorts of places on the map. I used it a lot.

The tease at the end indicates two more difficulty levels to continue the story.
I'd like to think that they'd give some form of free content since it was a bit light for the price at launch. Ofc beyond that a large paid expansion would be good too, potentially diving into someone else's mind etc 🤘😁
In my opinion it's not that short, if you really want to complete it you have to do two (different) complete runs and if you really want to update everything you need even more time. And it's just fun to play casually, so for me it has good replay value. Of course a new content will be greatly appreciated. :D
Really hope something comes to it worth while… still one of the games i go back to often. Def power trip of a game that just feels so awesome the whole time, but of course just not enough. Really wish they had the budget and insensitive to make a sequel or a full game with same/similar mechanics. We will all just keep prayin.
This is such a great game, I really hope they eventually get out some DLC or even a sequel at some point.
This was such an amazing game, gameplay and use of the eye tracking was fantastic and gameplay super addictive. Would love a huge paid for DLC and I would gladly pay for it to get back into the world of Synapse!

Entirely unrelated...... inspired by your 24 hour race at le mams the other day I was inspired to do some custom races too......I whole-heattedly recommend some long races in the go karts......I had a blast

Maybe PS5 pro enhancement? 120fps? Can they announce something like that yet? maybe not.

Please actually be something substantial instead of the usual minimal updates we typically get in these games. No one cares about a new enemy type or something like that.
For a game that only has like 4 enemy types I will absolutely take a new enemy.

I just didn’t find the ‘physics’ half as fun as all the UA-camrs. And Rogue like/lite is no substitute for a decent story. Got bored within a week.
