I’m glad that you added California to your list. I love it for all of the same reasons. That looks like a really cool campground! Mrs Failure and I didn’t get any beach camping done this last winter. We definitely need to make that happen again next winter. Typically we are in the mountains all summer so we will go to the beach once or twice in the winter. Kayaking on the bay is awesome. I love living in the SanFrancisco Bay Area. Bret quick question on health care. Did you pick up a plan on covered California? Health care is one of my worries as we have coverage through our employer. TY
Yes, I have been using Covered California since I retired last year. The first year, I paid a lot, because I was coming off a really high paying year in my career. But I got a lot of it back when I did my taxes and hadn't made that much. This year, I pay less, because I make a lot less. Covered Cali has been pretty good overall, but they tend to shift my plans and providers around. It's a lot less than trying to pay for insurance out of pocket.
