I had a 75 VW but never had to rebuild it. Best driving car I’ve ever had. I’ve built a ton of car engines for hotrod’s. Back in those days I had access to machine shops as I was a machinist. I guess airplane engines run at or near full throttle all the time, so they would rack up the hours faster than a car engine. Good story. Have a blessed one my friend.
Thank you for your comment Spencer. Yep, the tolerance for the VW is much higher because of the high RPM it runs, compared to the aircraft engine, because it never has any backlash. Thanks again and God bless you and Crystal.
i think the weather here in the central valley California is similar to the weather in your area Arizona .... central valley in California =07.04.24 = later day 111 degrees 07.05 =110 07.06=114.. 07.07=114..07.08=112..07.09=110..07.10=109 .. early AM around 6 am it has been running low to mid 70's ... have a happy and safe july 4th ...joe

Thank you for your comment and question George. I used to ride with the patriot guard bikers. Most were vets and had tattoos on their arms. So I put one on my arm from Hebrews 12 "1¶Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; When they asked me about it I could share my faith with them. That is an excellent way to witness. Mr. Kent I am a Dispensationalist. My belief is that "We are saved by Grace through Faith and that not of ourselves it is a gift of God not of Works lest any man should boast." Some teachers that really influenced me are of course Apostle Paul, the late Les Feldick, Fred Tarsitano, Daniel Reid. Les, Fred and Daniel have UA-cam channels.
