    Casey was betrayed... period......done witx Wave .....loyalty means zero .....pitiful deed...on Ellis.....Stoney deserved better.

    President Jill Ellis knows a lot about winning and this team is not doing so this year. Casey Stoney was a coach that relied on Defensive strategy and not on attacking offense. I saw the San Diego wave players instead of passing the ball forward they kept passing back to the goalkeeper. Her play book was all defense and the league has shifted from defense to an offensive league which is why she was fired. These past 7 days games there was no offense shown and last game against Houston it seemed that there would be none in the future with Casey Stoney as the head coach.

    I think the NWSL rules make it very hard for coaches to keep their teams together. The turmover and the advantage given to new teams means there will be a stall in year two and three..
