By the way...Porter and Waylon gave to us what they wanted to and sometimes what we needed. May God give their families the happiness they all need. Thank you.
When Norma Jean threw the 💍 engagement ring Porter had given her back at him,he had the diamond 💎 reset into a ring for Mel Tillis who was his fishing buddy.
Waylon could always sing, the Outlaw music wasn't "crap" it was a sign for the 1970's era. Music has to change or it gets stale and out of date. Can't keep listening to the same style year after year. It has to evolve.
I growed up watching this
love Porter and hard core country music
Now that's what is called great music,

Real country music. What's called country music today is only CMINO, Country Music In Name Only.

My brother in law who passed away was Waylon's twin! A very good looking man!

Waylon is one of the best in country for sure...
Little mac and buck were some great musicians

Porter was probably genuine but what Waylon did in the next 10 years is like a nuke going off.
I know right!!!
NOBODY was more genuine than Waylon...
Love Porter. A great entertainer. 13:10
back when Waylon was clean looking
I always say, the world was a better place when bands/performers wore suits, and you could hear all kinds of great music on AM radio.
Before he became an Outlaw.
Mel and waylon could pass as brothers
this is back when waylon could actually sing instead of all that outlaw crap.

Agree.
Back then Waylon & Willie were the outlaws of country music. Now, we have
real criminals.
