Having a look back through some of your older videos, really pleased to come across this one. I didn't know you played Infamy! Infamy! and secondly it's good to see that you've got a bit of coverage on the channel. I've been thinking about getting this game a for a while now,.
Cheers, I did have Infamy, but I sold off my stuff as it's not really a period I'm interested in. I did make a few battle reports though, so you can check those out at least!
Thank you very much for this overveiw! My main question is how many 28mm romans & barbarians miniatures is needed for a starter set? To get a game going, what is the numbers of miniatures needed ( Recomended ) for each side to play a good solid game?
Cheers, I am glad you enjoyed it. To answer, it depends on which Barbarians you are using, i am going some Gauls, and their core army is about 50 figures. The Early Imperial Romans I am doing need far fewer, about 30-40. That's infantry, if you have a force including cavalry, its not a great deal, about ten or so should see you good.
Thanks for the overview. Very jealous that you have your copy already. I imagine here in the states we will be getting ours at the end of next week with the holiday coming up this weekend. Are you going to individually base your 15mm figures?
I've never played Sharp Practise, so I am not 100% sure. However, I know Infamy is based heavily on SP, so I wouldnt be surprised if there was plenty of crossover between the two.
Nice review. I know what you mean that there is no replacement for an actual book. I have the PDF but can’t really concentrate on it. I’m waiting for my hard copy before I get stuck in.
Thank you, yep, I just can't read PDFs properly and it doesnt go in my head like when i read a book. This really is worth the wait, really well produced and a pleasure to read.
Thank you very much for the overview. Looking forward to your battle reports in the future! How do you intend to organise your 15mm armies? Will you double the figures or play as is?
Cheers buddy, glad you enjoyed it. It will be a while as I have to paint those figures! I am going to use them as is, at least in the first instance, I'll see how it goes.
Thanks Don, glad you enjoyed the review, I am looking forward to getting it on the tabletop asap. Lol, yeah, I'm not sure how well that would go down...

Cheers Andrew, its worth the wait, I promise! Yep, they will be individually based and I'll be using sabot bases for movement.
It looks like my cards and tokens for sharp Practice would work for infamy? Is this the case?

Storm of Steel Wargaming . Good luck with the project. I was a great fan of Asterix when I was a nipper! :)
@@dopplebockdunkle thank you, Asterix is responsible for my interest in history and career as an archaeologist, so I've got to pay homage to it!
It is a very good looking ruleset, like your thoughts. Cheers mate.
Thank you! Cheers! Glad you liked the video!
Great review Alex! You’ll love playing the game. It’s a bit like draughts - easy to learn but tough to master. You should post a review to TMP!

Thanks, enjoyed and interested.
