Moisture Meter - Surverymaster Protimeter. Moisture in different building materials

Using the Surverymaster Protimeter on different building materials like, pine, pressure treated deck board, ceiling tile, green board drywall, walnut, maple, cherry, plywood, birch plywood. Soaking the materials in water for 24 hours and then checking how each one handles the water. Each building material of course reacts differently. I measure the moisture right out of the water and then again after letting them dry for another 24 hours.
The Surverymaster Protimeter is by far the best moisture meter on the market. It is expensive and there are cheaper options for home owners that don't need it every day. I also talk about the General options available at Lowes and Home Depot.
Also using the Surverymaster Protimeter to show how to check for leaking toilets. I use this thing every single day and find at least 5-6 leaking toilets a week.
