Even discounting the weird survivor death at the end, I'm not a huge fan of these maps/games where you can go strong for most of the game and then everything just immediately goes to shit without clear cause. Enemies jump in damage/difficulty/health, your DPS hits a wall, whatever the cause. Feels raw.
Yeah, I am not too big of fan of the end of this map either. Enemies that are capable of one shotting your towers feel unfair especially when your towers don't get any more powerful.
@@ZeusesCloud Actually you played on Easy, this game is more difficult on harder modes, your strategy of "skipping" middle tier towers wouldnt take you that far, you'll lack damage eventually without those, especially the turret with magic damage. But I do agree that the damage scaling of enemies has no sense. No point on bunkering like in vampirism, walls are only useful to maze.
@@palayn Really? All towers have same AS as far as I understand. And in the video he compared price/dps ratio of mid tier towers,which is quite awful compared to fusion. They would make sense if they were like 500 gold while the ultimate tower would cost like 10000+,but in this map you can easily save up enough for the best tower as the price is only like double
Honestly your channel is like a trip down memory lane. Havent played these maps for like 10 years, but seeing these vids is like "oooh right, that fun map exists!". Sidenote, have you tried "Werewolf Transylvania"?
most good custom games are fairly simple to understand or have a tutorial. you might not be a master your first few games, but understanding the basics should not be a problem if you try and play them blind. or you know, you can ask people for help and tips.
Most of the custom games that I play are pretty intuitive. You see something you want to build/buy which leads you to figure out how to make more money. Then you think about how to optimize making money and what type of base location you prefer. In most games I have a pretty good grasp of what to do by the end of my first match or the second.
I play with new players to custom games all the time, just gotta be brave and ask for help. most of the time youll have someone who will explain to you how to play, and you can always host your own lobby to practice a new map for a few games before jumping into a game with other people if you dont want to be a burden. Start the game in offline mode and use cheats to survive while you figure stuff out
Hey, I was just wondering if you've ever played a custom map where you're underground, trying to find a good starting spot where destructible rocks make your walls, essentially. After that you play it like troll & elves, atleast that's how i remember it. I've played it like 8 years ago and I don't remember the name anymore :(
If you are using the original version of Warcraft 3 you need to be on at least 1.31 for it to work. If it doesn't work in reforged then I am not sure what the problem would be.
I expected better of you zues. It has 30 rounds... you dont just die on round 22 lol..... only time things like that happen is when you play incorrect versions that people have messed with.

yeah the mod is bugged. I just died on day 22 as well. no zombies even got close to my builder

Yes. However, I am not a big fan of long (45+ minutes) pvp maps.

watch and learn. This was a new map for me, I just asked questions and copy what people did. Practice and become decent, then good.
