hi friends! doing something a little different for today's vlog. do you remember when i made that "10 daily habits" vid back in quarantine? i suppose this is her older cousin.
i went on a roadtrip last weekend with my friend and came back still on vacation mode. the fact that it's actually the halfway point of 2024 now is insane so i knew i needed to lock in. hopefully this vid motivates you as well!

It's crazy how life works..I was living life to the fullest, enjoying waking up and going to the gym, studying, journaling, meditating but lately I've been in this slump for WEEEKKS, hating waking up, hating exercising, losing sleep and missing lots of days and now and I randomly opened youtube, ready to rot again and I saw this video and I just felt drawn to it :)

as someone who is in somewhat of a slump right now, i needed this kind of video. i feel like all i do is go to work and sit at home now that the academic year is over, and i was used to such a vibrant and interesting life while i was living on my college campus. but this helps to remind me i can create my own vibrant life while i'm waiting for the school year to start back up again. thanks, annika!

I’ve been in a huge slump since May, and been neglecting my sleep, education, health, practice, and breaking my diet (for health issues and allergies). It’s felt like a one step forward, two steps back situation. Tonight I decided to chill, but to wake up early tomorrow and set myself straight. This was the perfect motivation and sign I have the right idea of what direction I need to move toward.
The nostalgia kicked in so hard when you played the style boutique clothing store sound while you were doing your dishes❤❤❤

Fastest way to clean a blender is put some water and washing up liquid together and blend, kinda short bursts, it makes it all bubbly and usually gets the worst out.
i love how at 23:13 when you were showing the difference with the colour grading you timed it with the music. i just thought that was a cozy bit of attention to detail.
