I wish many Cubans here in south Florida would watch this video, many of my friends born here, have deep in their soul, a bitter angry disgraceful feeling about Cuba, as if the only Cubans in the island, are those in the goverment..increribly a person like your self, that hardly lived there, in search who You are, have done so, by been mature, acceptance of the reality, and moving on, shows your humble level of intellectuality, returning is the only way, to bring change by embracing the people, not by living in the past, not by blaming while doing nothing about it. thank you so much, I can totally relate, i was 19 when i came, i thought my self English, I do not have the best grammar, but most people understand what i write..thank you for sharing

Most Miamians of today were not born in 1980 or are from different places but they all say the same thing. Cuban's seem to want some individuals to suffer as they did on there island and with the power of the masses it has been quite difficult to live in Miami if your not cuban.

@@NinaPenson_13 Those who left back then as children, grew up and were educated in the free world. We are used to individual freedom....take it for granted even. We formed families and now have children and grandchildren who have never seen Cuba. However, Cuba has always stayed within our hearts and we pass our love for it on to the next generations. Those left behind have lived under oppression for 60+ years. Their children and grandchildren know no other option. They have to conform or be marginalized, yet, their cultural passion is just as strong. Even though we resettled in all parts of the world, we recognize each other on sight. Although our Diaspora is long standing and far reaching our Cubaness comes through for us every time and we immediately identify and acknowledge it when we meet each other, be it in Spain, Italy, the UK or Japan. Our common identity is always a source of joy and comfort wherever we are.

@@Ravensonng that’s awesome. That’s very beautiful. Yeah I genuinely asked because as of this past election cycle I’ve been curious about Cubans and that entire culture. I’ve been doing a lot of historical research as well but honestly sometimes talking to someone from that culture helps even more. I only have one Cuban friend in my life, and he’s from Miami! I believe either his parents or grandparents fled Cuba. I’m not sure which one. But he’s the only Cuban person I’ve met and I’m from the Midwest haha

The Cuban refugees traveled to the United States, perhaps unknowingly, on a one-way ticket and unconditionally. Here, they were transformed into exiles by cryptic forces. Eventually, under a common name, the motley was assimilated into the foreign milieu as rabid citizens of two cultures. When they had nothing, they appealed to the rich; when they had enough, they called on the poor. www.gate.net/joachim/

You are born in Cuba & left the country when Batista dictator ruled the countrymen me give you an example Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos US did not gave any embargo .They are flourishing these countries. Cuban Health system & Immunology, Orthopedic & world famous .Look in US no doctors & nurses visit door to door & medicine.Like you I am also frustrated
with US Government policy. Can you see the difference of killing the people irrespective of the racial descrimination in Cuba,But in US everyday killing racial hate and many more.Human Rights are violated.Free Embergo to Cuba let it be normal situation,They will raise agin, return Guantamo Bay place to Cuba. What is the difference between Donkey Donald Trump & Joe Biden ?..
