The reason it looks so clean is because he’s going over mostly small bushes not small trees if you look to the right when the video starts you can see he went over trees

Not a bad rig for a relatively flat ground. It would be useless in Nova Scotia, one granite rock would make work of it.
How small can you make the mulch with this type of machine. Small enough to leave it and put sod on top?
No. It leaves a rough cut mulch behind.
