Good point! My pyro is the max amount of beef in my bag and it's only needed for a hole or two at each course I play even though I have a few more overstable discs than it but no need to bag them.
I throw a Pyro buy love the Proton Soft Deflector for the extra OS spot. Resistor is money as well
Discmania discs are so good!! The metal flake c line is amazing! Right now i bag the pyro for that slot because i have not found a OS mid i actually like!!! I may need to try one!

Have you ever considered doing a video on shot selection vs disc selection. For example, I struggle on a rhbh deep right shot, if I should pick my farthest flyer (raider) and put it on anhyzer or use a mamba and throw flat.
I have watched all your videos I can’t seem to find much info out there about this.

What's interested is that I don't really bag a Overstable mid, My mid game is the MD1 MF C-line, Lizottle and then an MD3. My Overstable mid is my Approach disc(Razor Claw 3).

Pyro man … just give in. Every vid you throw it in it is the best one.
The quake is the best disc for this slot on the market. That being said, if you have a zone type disc and a firebird type disc, this slot is really unnecessary in general.
I have recently realized that both the strike and ultra either beat in EXTREMELY fast, or aren't close to what their numbers say. I turn my strike over constantly lately.
Guess it fits perfectly between the Method and the Mutant, :P

From my experience, the ultra is less stable for an over stable mid range. Flys like my beat in Kastaplast Jarn when it was new out of the box. Good to get some more distance but won't be taking my utility mid slot.
I’ve been bagging the verdict which I like but mine is beat in and much more workable than these. I do have a fresh one but I haven’t had a reason to bag it

Finally someone pulled out the PYRO. Yah the rim is lil deep but it's so consistent. Mine is Proton and 2years old so it's Lil more Flippy and glidey. Verdict is only mid I've had close to it's flight
Quake is extremely similar as well.

I think reliant disc golf has that video uploaded. They compare a new md5, old md5, and a mutant I believe.

If the Pyro didn't hit the curb it would have won the challenge and you kept saying how it ended up the same as the ultra. Just saying....Pyro for life
P.s. the Pyro was pushed out of my bag by the glow reactor. Just feels better with similar flight.
Hmmm what plastic type would you recommend for the Pyro? I've got a Proton & Glow Envy that cover a lot of shots for me, and would like to bag 1 midrange that's super workable.
To do this video without the Justice is tragic. Such a great disc and can easily go 300'.

Some people are building their bag. I just finished a few months ago took me almost 2years. I went from caiman to verdict to PYRO tried a toro bc my Pyro is getting like your ultra but I should have just bought another PYRO don't like the Toro

This might be the overstable mid I've been looking for. Nothing quite feels right and I've been trying to find something between the Mutant and Hex (I know big gap there).
