I discovered Chimaira on that tour with Lamb of God. I only knew their nu metal stuff so when they came out with the speed metal I was blown away.
Now if Lamb of God or Machine Head could take Chimaira out on tour 🙏
One of my first live shows I ever went to was seeing Chimaira. They were touring with In Flames during their Impossibility of Reason album. I became an instant fan. Lamb of God are blessed to have Mark on. It's gonna be a kickass show.

In 2003 having been a huge chimaira fan seeing them every chance they came to Detroit.. they came through with lamb of God and we left after chimaira not knowing lamb of God and we were drunk and spent. How dumb lol
Chimaira and Machine Head, Road Rage 2004 was one of the greatest shows I've ever been to!! Both crushed it!! Funny enough, the first time I saw Chimaira was on that co-headline tour with LoG in '03.

just watched the vids, damn Mark Killed it. fans would be loving it despite Randy not being there, I was at Download 06 when Jon wasn't there for Korn and they had Corey T and a few other people filling in, like Mark said it's those Once in a lifetime things fans remember forever!
This is so interesting, seeing behind the scenes. Seeing those cheat sheets lol. Makes me respect him even more knowing how nervous they can actually be before going on stage. They (as in all metal gods - which these people are) make it look sooo effortless

I remember when Randy Blythe filled in for Mike IX Williams of EyeHateGod (an awesome New Orleans Sludge Metal band, check em' out if you haven't already I recommend starting off with their amazing 1993 album "Take as Needed For Pain"). I wanna say it was 2016 or so? I wasn't able to go to the Baltimore City, Maryland show but I wish I had. I bet Mark will do great for Lamb of God. I saw Chimaria for the first time back in 2004 in Washington DC @ The 9:30 Club with Gojira, Trivium and the almighty Machine Fuckin' Head! That was one epic line up and show 🤘🏼🤘🏼💥🔥🔥🔥🎸👹👍
I certainly have no fucking regrets about driving from North Carolina to the Norva in Virginia to see you guys with Chimaira back in 2004 on a work night. New songs are killer Robb I'm proud of you guys

Can we just bring back Chimaira? God damn were they brutal. Saw them in Reading, Pa to a very small group of fans. Unfortunately the bill was packed with 20 local bands & Chimaira headlined. After the locals played them & their friends all left leaving the place empty to my friend and I and every minute was so worth it. Miss those guys!🤘
