I was 9 years old when I got my first ever Rubik’s cube for Christmas. I scrambled it but never touched it ever since until 2 years later when I was actually grounded and didn’t have anything to do. So I picked up a Rubik’s cube and watched this video; it got me into cubing and doing all kinds of puzzles, now I am 14 and solving all kinds of cubes, pryamids, shapeshifing, and a lot more. And it all started with this one video. Thank you for inspiring me for doing what I do now!

OMGoodness !! I did it I did it I did it. Thank you so much for your simple steps. Some of your moves were pretty fast so it took me pausing and starting several times. Then also I’d take an extra step to make my colors match then I found myself nowhere near what you were showing me. LoL. So I had to stop. Start over like 3 different times and waited patiently and followed your instructions instead of rushing into the next step. After 3 times I learned my lesson. 🤣 I bought my son his first cube at the age of 7. He’s now age 23. Back then he wasn’t too thrilled with it. But once he hit high school he picked it up and didn’t put it down until he solved it. Now he has I believe every cube created thus far and can solve them all. 😊💕😊 He’s pretty fast too. He’s in the Army and he keeps the original cube on his desk. Of course anyone who walks by has to mess it up just to see him solve it. 🤣🤣🤣 Now I can show him I’ve solved it too. 😊Again.. Thank You.
What an awesome story! Once you know how to solve the cube you will never forget. Kind of like riding a bike. Way to stick with it! One tip I share with kids is exactly what you did. I tell them to learn the sides and turns and to solve the green side only. Don't do anything else until you have the green side mastered. Then learn the R and L moves to solve the middle layer, then learn the top. Its easier to break it down into steps. Thanks for the note!
Final update: I had to red-do a few times, because I'm autistic, and I missed a few things, like rotating the top layer on that final process, but I finally got it, and It's solved! THANK YOU!

I've watched dozens of these videos trying to find a "Beginner Tutorial" that is in fact just that. Most videos that claim they are for beginners are usually extremely difficult to follow. I was finally able to solve my Rubik's cube after watching this video a couple of times and finally understanding it completely. It was so satisfying! I watched heaps of videos on youtube to try to learn (with the headings SOLVE RUBIK's CUBE IN JUST 2 MOVES) but they were all literally garbage. They didn't help at all. This video teaches us properly each and every step and algorithm of solving the Rubik's cube in detail. Might be long but really very very helpful. Thanks so much sir for making this wonderful video!

Great tutorial! I’ve always been able to solve 2 layers (by trial and error rather than any technique) so a year or so ago used a UA-cam video to finish it, first time since the 80’s lol and I’ve resisted mixing it up ever since, I found my cube during a recent house move and got the urge this weekend to see if I could learn to solve the cube and found your video, I’ve now mixed it up and solved it in around an hour, the next challenge is to memorise the algorithms and see if I can solve it unaided!

Thank you so much for this great tutorial. There is just one thing that happens quite frequently. Once you've solved one side (including the small T's) and you flip the cube over to start doing the middle part, you're supposed to be looking for one of the four middle pieces on the up face that does not have blue in it. Sometimes there are indeed middle pieces with no blue. But sometimes all four middle pieces already have blue in them. What to do then? It makes it impossible to solve the cube. Please advise...
You just play the blues randomly using the same algorithm. This will shuffle them into the respective slots however it will also free up the correct pieces. Once those pieces playable then solve to the next step.

Hi Buck, Thanks for creating the video and I never solved a cube in entire years of age, I solved cube now. There is a minor problem with last two steps as they dont work always. Do you know reason for that? 1. Last but one step: "U R U1 L1 U R1 U1 L" -- Ape per you description in the video, it will be used to fix the corners of the top. Start with a corner whichever has edges in right placce with bad orientation. 2. Last step: "R1 D1 R D" -- Fix the corners Do you have any other solution for this? Thanks and regards, Srinu.

Beenish Hussain, The easiest way to learn to solve the cube is learn the steps individually. First, learn to solve for the green side. Don't do anything else until you have the green side mastered. Then learn the left and right moves to solve the middle layer. Then learn the top. Kids find it helpful to write down the algorithms on a piece of paper so they can look at the steps when they are learning to solve. At the end of the video, there is another video with all the moves written down. Keep at it!! You will get it!!!! All it takes is practice. Write me if you get stuck
Love this video!!!!!!!! I watched it earlier, but it took forever to find it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes the last algorithm only solves the blue layer, but that's ok! You just have to resolve the second and 3rd layers and it magically worked for me!! Keep repeating that process until the cube magically appears.

Thank you so much for this great tutorial. There is just one thing that happens quite frequently. Once you've solved one side (including the small T's) and you flip the cube over to start doing the middle part, you're supposed to be looking for one of the four middle pieces on the up face that does not have blue in it. Sometimes there are indeed middle pieces with no blue. But sometimes all four middle pieces already have blue in them. What to do then? It makes it impossible to solve the cube. Please advise...
You just play the blues randomly using the same algorithm. This will shuffle them into the respective slots however it will also free up the correct pieces. Once those pieces playable then solve to the next step.
I’ve been solving cubes for almost 3 years now and I always use this video to find algorithms if I ever forget. Best video ever

I remember about 4 years ago my mom got me a rubik's cube and I wasn't able to solve it so I found your video and had fun learning and impressing the other kids at school, now 4 years later I found that same rubik's cube and I forgot how to solve it so I looked up on UA-cam but couldn't find your video but I refused to learn any other way just because of the memories and after about 30 mins I found your video and I have learned again and while watching I got one of the strongest feelings of nostalgia ever, I just want to thank you for making me a bit more interesting when I was 10 and for the feeling I got watching your video 4 years later

Thanks for creating the video and I never solved a cube in entire years of age, I solved cube now. There is a minor problem with last two steps as they dont work always. Do you know reason for that?
1. Last but one step: "U R U1 L1 U R1 U1 L" -- Ape per you description in the video, it will be used to fix the corners of the top. Start with a corner whichever has edges in right placce with bad orientation.
2. Last step: "R1 D1 R D" -- Fix the corners

Why mine always need to be color switched, when i do the right inverted and down inverted, my cube messed up when it comes all together

I learned how to solve the cube in just an 1 hour. I was extremely surprised and excited. He does teach well and I had to understand what he meant to say which made sense to me after i watched the video 2-3 times😊😊😊

Not necessary. Do it in steps. Green side first. Then middle. Then top. If you buy another, you will have 2 that need solved instead of one!

The easiest way to learn to solve the cube is learn the steps individually. First, learn to solve for the green side. Don't do anything else until you have the green side mastered. Then learn the left and right moves to solve the middle layer. Then learn the top. Kids find it helpful to write down the algorithms on a piece of paper so they can look at the steps when they are learning to solve. At the end of the video, there is another video with all the moves written down. Keep at it!! You will get it!!!! All it takes is practice. Write me if you get stuck

Love this video!!!!!!!! I watched it earlier, but it took forever to find it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes the last algorithm only solves the blue layer, but that's ok! You just have to resolve the second and 3rd layers and it magically worked for me!! Keep repeating that process until the cube magically appears.
This really helped! I solved it in less than three hours and I can now solve it in a matter of minutes. One of the best tutorials :D
