Varian and the Seven Kingdoms! It’s a spin-off series of the disney series Tangled, but the idea got rejected by Disney because it didn’t have “enough of rapunzel” and focused on Varian too much, who’s a side character. Which is, quite literally the definition of a spin-off series. Taking a side character and making them a main character and giving them a show. Basically, the idea was Varian has been living life happily after the whole thing with black rocks, yada. Then, his father comes and talks to Varian about his mother, and how his mother died. His mom went and tried the seven trials of the seven kingdoms but she ended up dying, the while shabang. I’m leaving out some details. But Varian decides to go do the seven trials to get closer to his mom. So he sets off with his trusty donkey. On the way, he meets 3 companions. Yong, Nuru, and Hugo. They all go to do the seven trials, and that’s the show. There is much more with it though.
