David O'List - Talking Pictures (UK, 1982)

This B-side is being uploaded by request (many months after the ask.) It is not as strong as "Fallout Love," but fortunately for my classification-minded brain, still fits into one of the lyrical subject matters explored on this channel.
Last time out, I failed to say much about O'List. British guitarist David O'List was a member of The Attack, The Nice, and a bit later, an early member of the embryonic Roxy Music, actually beating out Phil Manzanera for the original gig. He recorded an fantastic BBC session with Ferry and crew before departing in early 1972, prior to the debut LP. A few years later, O'List turned up in British glam rock group Jet, who released one extraordinary LP and a couple singles. This solo single is from 1982 but he's still making music.
