I love listening to Marc. He's an epic dichotomy, simple but crazy complex. Sounds like he knows what he wants, but then admits he isn't sure. It's a wild ride, so many layers.
As much as I love WTF, I love Marc as a guest more. He seems more relaxed and is fast and loose. It reminds me of Letterman on other people's interview shows, not at all concerned with the logistics of the show, just spittin'.
I would love to sit in that table and listen to these two talk all day long. Also I wouldn't dare say a word in fear of sounding dumb and have them both tear me to pieces with smart sarcasm.
I could listen to this for hours. Thanks guys. Ps...I have lived in monmouth county ocean twp since I've been 10 years old. Perhaps I knew Marc's aunt...
In my 50s, I worked for a company that designed and manufactured custom retail store displays. All the employees were artists, like myself. There were about 75 people working there. To motivate the employees, when we had to do a project that was tedious and repetitive, our supervisors would distribute weed, for everyone to smoke. Even though at the time, weed was very illegal. It was a very fun, cool job. We joked around and were encouraged to come up with creative solutions to our various projects. Weed was a real catalyst.
I love the set of this podcast more than others. maybe a niche or weird compliment but I wanna eat for hours there, with house red wine, all the Papa bread and maybe a very bad cig with some coffee and liquor at the end.
For awhile, I was proud that my cigarette smoke, improved the atmosphere of Jazz clubs, and taverns. When they banned smoking it was too sterile in Jazz clubs, so I quit going to them.
this is the fake mom & pop Italian-joint booth that I like. but what's up with the fake fern and Garlic behind Maron? Very happy to get More Maron. Try not to fall off any more mountains Marc... we still need you.
I'm smoking right now,...toasty good. I began when I was 30, ( in 1983) .....mainly because at my first job, my coworkers could take smoke breaks, all day long, when ever. I had to work while they smoked. Once I began smoking, I could take as many smoke breaks as them. I did quit for about a year, in 2001 to 2002. Then I slowly began again. I'm 70, now.
I'm a "gentleman" smoker,...no one ever knew I smoked,....I never blew it in people's faces, and If I was around non-smokers, I would smoke it away from them, or outside. If I am going out to dinner with my girlfriend or friends, I don't smoke. Sometimes I will use a Vape pipe, loaded with nicotine. I was on a nicotine patch, while I was in the hospital, and I almost got off of cigs. But as soon as I was feeling better, I got back into smoking, again. I smoke weed too, have since I was 17.
❤you Tom but had to take a break from the podcast because I didn’t care for a number of the guests.😮 Where’s Kiera? I adore Marc and always have! Thank you for having him on!!!! I would love to date him! Can you hook me up??? I’d have to meet him here in Colorado as I hate Californication😂😂😂😂
Around 8:50 when Marc describing tobacco shops and Tom says "With the Native American out front?" and Marc w/ the quick "No." I totally know what Tom is referring to. Pretty much any tobacco shop, especially ones w/ cigars, located in a mall(big, small, stripmall, etc) always seemed to have those big wooden Native American statues/sculptures out front by the entrance.
Marc, what are your thoughts on the Scottish, Celtic-Irish, Black American and the Jewish experience as suppressed, demonized and enslaved people???????????????
I was smarter than many of my teachers and would correct them then get sent to the principal office. Fucking was definitely a priority in the 70’s but not something to build a life on!!!! But it sure was a pre-requisite.
The "big shot" making low six figures that has to run everything by his wife. Thats not even that bad, back in the day you had to smell peoples perfumes.
I kid. Actually, Marc is great. Even if 10 years ago he did block me on twitter for no reason (I got in the middle of a twitter war between him & Birbiglia & Marc went on a blocking rampage).
I love that Marc thinks the violent ones are on the right- hahaha . good one bud. I think you mean , when you rip apart Trump and his supporters..(why would you? hate America?) then you get feedback. Consequences of your actions. No one hurt you.
I love listening to Marc. He's an epic dichotomy, simple but crazy complex. Sounds like he knows what he wants, but then admits he isn't sure. It's a wild ride, so many layers.
That’s cool Tom had time to do this interview on break from Foot Locker.
And TGIFridays was right there!
Tom and Marc who can ask for more
I love it when my two comedy dads sit down for a loaf!!!
Love to hear Marc talking about Deano! Loved their too-short-lived Dark Fonzie podcast !
As much as I love WTF, I love Marc as a guest more. He seems more relaxed and is fast and loose. It reminds me of Letterman on other people's interview shows, not at all concerned with the logistics of the show, just spittin'.
He is open to tell more about his own stories than otherwise.
I wish Marc's podcast had video - all those now historic episodes! Thanks for this Tom! 😊😊
Couldn’t wait to listen as soon as I saw the photo of you two.
BTW - The set is a nice touch.
It's time for Wheezing Laughs With Papa (and Maron)
Love listening to Maron and Papa ❤
I would love to sit in that table and listen to these two talk all day long. Also I wouldn't dare say a word in fear of sounding dumb and have them both tear me to pieces with smart sarcasm.
Tom and Marc! YAY!!!!!
I could listen to this for hours. Thanks guys. Ps...I have lived in monmouth county ocean twp since I've been 10 years old. Perhaps I knew Marc's aunt...

Great conversation, gentlemen

Marc looks like Les Claypool on his album cover😅 brilliant
Love you Tom. Love you Marc.
Excellent 🤘
I loved that album cover so much I had to order it, enjoy what your doing. Greetings from Austria.
Wait, I'm the same 60 as these guys - patchouli? Whole Foods? There's a gym in the hotel? Pittsburg is nice? Jeez, NJ folks sure have changed....
Wow. I didn't know I lived in the same area as Tom and Marc. Paterson, NJ here! Jersey will always be home.
this is the fake mom & pop Italian-joint booth that I like.
but what's up with the fake fern and Garlic behind Maron?

Maron - a philosopher who insists he's a comedian 😊
Great duo! Love your stuff Tom
I would see Marc *anywhere*, especially Vegas!
Der Weinerschnitzel FTW!🎉

That's why I luv these 2: day iz Joy-see boyz, like me. Hopewell, Lambertville, P'ton, (don't say it)....
..."Maybe This Wasn't Something To Build A Life On!". 😂 Oh, How I can relate 🤣
“Now I’m just lonely and weird” 😂😂😂
I'm a "gentleman" smoker,...no one ever knew I smoked,....I never blew it in people's faces, and If I was around non-smokers, I would smoke it away from them, or outside. I was dissapointed Tom fidnt throw a flag during the interview.
“ Rambler” sounds a bit like “ Tin Cup”.
When did Maron get David and why arent they promoting that???
Tom gotta soccer game to ref after this ?
Wheres your whistle?
Finally!!!
It's from 'The Harder They Fall', not from 'Requiem for a Heavyweight'.
❤you Tom but had to take a break from the podcast because I didn’t care for a number of the guests.😮
Where’s Kiera?
I adore Marc and always have! Thank you for having him on!!!! I would love to date him! Can you hook me up??? I’d have to meet him here in Colorado as I hate Californication😂😂😂😂
It’s interesting how many people say “sih-metic” rather than correctly saying “seh-mitic”…switching the e and i…
That's a dam fine looking loaf on the table. I want to eat it right now.
So Happy that Maron and Burr are not 6" up Rogan's ass. The Mothership remark. Genius.
The movie is The Harder They Fall not Requiem for a Nightmare. Bogart’s last film.
Wait Requiem for a Nightmare?! That isn’t even a thing ,is it?
Bad shirt Maron!’😮
Which in turn, is true Maron.
I had a Datsun B210 too!
There was an American Indian in front of the Tinder Box
A&W a Candian company says the guy from California. Lulz.

Here's your engagement I guess
Hope it helps you out
It’s zyn fool. Let us be adults with the ability to make our own choices!😂
60 year old men playacting with cigarettes is one of the funniest uncool things I've ever seen.
Did Maron dig that shirt out of a dumpster?
Marc, what are your thoughts on the Scottish, Celtic-Irish, Black American and the Jewish experience as suppressed, demonized and enslaved people???????????????
I’m going to assume he’s against it.
Fred Stoller is God!!!
I was smarter than many of my teachers and would correct them then get sent to the principal office.
Fucking was definitely a priority in the 70’s but not something to build a life on!!!! But it sure was a pre-requisite.
thank god Tom isn't saying "ya ya mm hmm ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya mmhmm".... AS much as in the jimmy carr episode
Still missing Kira; ever coming back?
The "big shot" making low six figures that has to run everything by his wife. Thats not even that bad, back in the day you had to smell peoples perfumes.
Weezer called...they need their members back! 🤘🏽😜👍🏽
You are correct Marc! Paramus Park indeed pioneered the "food court"! Remember the stairs and the waterfall? Great place to sneak a smoke! Yay!!
I love Marc but I can totally see how he is a nightmare to deal with. Fun to watch from a distance though
I hate previews
O, how I wish the men I find most appealing are not attracted to women their age!!😢😊
Is that a can of Skoal in Mark's pocket? Has he gone MAGA? It'll pick up, Mark, right after covid. Hang in there, buddy!!
it's bubble tape.
I kid. Actually, Marc is great. Even if 10 years ago he did block me on twitter for no reason (I got in the middle of a twitter war between him & Birbiglia & Marc went on a blocking rampage).
@@lynnturman8157 wow.
I think it’s birth control pills. Or he had a pacemaker installed perhaps.
A lot of the younger male comedians are doing the Zyn, nicotine pouches. Wonder if that is it🤔
I love that Marc thinks the violent ones are on the right- hahaha . good one bud. I think you mean , when you rip apart Trump and his supporters..(why would you? hate America?) then you get feedback. Consequences of your actions. No one hurt you.
Maron worried about being a Jew after Trump was elected. What a clown. He's talented and funny but completely in a Hollywood bubble.
When he turned his back on louis i lost all respect for him.
vomit
Louis deserved everything and more than he got. He should not be allowed anywhere near women, children or real men.
Cool referee shirt, Tom.
