I actually watched an episode of The Voice Kids UK last week and there was a little girl on it named Astrid, which I thought was such a pretty name. However, I tend to like girls names more when they cute nicknames, one of my best friends is named Jolaina but everyone calls her Jojo, which I think is super cute!! So I don't think I would actually use the name Astrid since Assie is obviously not a cute nickname!
