G’day Robbie, I loved seeing all your favourite five yellow-belly stories, absolutely great 👍🏼 mate…. I’ve never actually caught one myself but would love to.
The thumbnail brings back some childhood memories Robbie. I remember well how insanely jealous of the kids who came back from holidays with a new "Big Yellabelly" ruler or pencil case I was lol. cheers mate.
Great video mate I miss catching them so much. I moved over to Western Australia 25 years ago and there are none over here. The biggest that l caught in Victoria was 10 pound on the little Murray at fish Point near Swan Hill Great memory's
Metallicallup wtf cracking me up .. Kill em all or ride the lightning ⚡️?? Don’t know what’s my favourite album??? Great video Robbie mate. Hopefully we’re not locked down again fkk
Love your fishing and love your enthusiasm. Can’t wait, it’s close. What do you think triggers the start of the true yellow frenzy, water temp or the longer days? Thanks for sharing Love your work
Thanks for your kind words mate. I think there are a few triggers, and the more there are at once the better. More daylight hours, increasing water temperatures, rising water and flowing water all help. Yellowbelly just LOVE flowing water. Quite often they will swim down over spillway walls when lakes overflow, or up into the arms when floodwater is entering.
