Love the video mate, you’ve convinced me to run the ppc after this. Was unsure but this is a mint review. Also where are you winging? Looks mint.

Stoked to hear you liked it! This is a spot at Tabourie, on the NSW south coast. Great spot and easy to access, but it has had terrible banks for riding waves lately. Hopefully it changes soon.

Been waiting for the winging reviews! Fantastic mate! Where are you running the mast on this setup? All the best.

😂 it certainly is a logistical nightmare to manage the camera, but I thought it had to be done. I am running the mast at 8 on the 50L board. Feels balanced for when the board floats while I am standing on it and where I want to stand while on foil. Makes it easier to getting on foil as I don’t have to move my feet about.

Thanks, Oskar! Yeah still haven’t found a good solution for my GoPro either-might just have to get the tiny Insta360 camera. I run the the same setup on my 60L FG at 8 as well (but with one red shim). Going shimless on an A+ fuse without pushing the mast back makes it difficult to take-off and sustain lift without stalling. Any tips?

Curious to hear your opinion on how the PPC compares to the A-Wing V2 ??

I think the A-Wing is a touch stiffer, similar power for their sizes. The PPC can go upwind slightly better, and very comparable for thow they flag out but I think the A-wing takes the win in that department. Overall very comparable wings actually. PPC is a lighter too.

Do u ride switch stance or only toeside like in this vid.

I actually can't ride switch so only toeside. I am almost always wining in the surf so for me I just haven't felt the need to learn. But if you need to make a lot of ground upwind the switch stance is so much more efficient.

@@OskarJohansson1 thanks for the reply, im surprised since most people are advocating that i ride switch vs learn toeside. i can arleady ride switch on my wing, but only while taxiing, i have managed to get some quick flights in on my switch stance , but still long ways off. wondering if i should also just focus on toeside vs learning switch for foil flight

@@apricotscrub 100% focus on toe side first. Far quicker to get you linking your turns. With new harnesses this is a game changer and you can hook the wing onto your leading hip. This takes the back pain out of pointing high toe side and twisting your back up. Unless you come from a solid windsurf or kite background you will find switch hard. Surfers especially will find switch hard.

@@UndergroundSkateSurf what harness are you referring to? and i have done a bit of windsurfing so my switch stance (which i need to use for taxiing back) is not horrible, but im scared of foiling on my switch.
