Best innings I've ever seen in t20 is from kohli against pak no doubt but his career has come to an end whereas kl is gonna play for 5 years more. If you think he's dropped and won't come into the squad then you will be proved wrong. everyone targets kl but others players are hiding behind him who also haven't given performance.

RCA for current form of Rahul is his groin injury. Before that he scored 2 centuries in test and 2 centuries in ipl. Post which he went out due to groin injury. It's not a good place to have injury. Yes we understand that bad time Hits every one even kholi had get through that but we have to see their come backs kholi went through a bad patch he had comeback himself similarly rohit also went through bad phase during T20 world cup he had comeback himself even Pandya and jadeja had went through injury they had come back and I think kuldeep yadav had comeback but kl had get many chances but he didn't and in this first class cricket when we have too much options we can't expect such performance from him when he continuesly got chances and his innings were very slow not even medium everytime defending not works sometimes you have to attack and for him why we will avoid new talents.
The same question when asked about Sanju Samson he gave a totally different answer. You should use the same yard stick for all the players.

If rahul stills plays in a better IPL team like rcb, mi Or csk there where so manu people will out and support him but he stand in other side and making his on place. I love that guy and he has my huge respect. I'm a huge fan of viru, after him virat is the one who influenced me in very thing but now rahul also have a place in my heart. Still loves these three❤
