Bangladesh have done it at last. After 13 failed attempts over 21 years after the Multan heartbreak, Bangladesh have finally managed to beat Pakistan in Test cricket.
It was a team effort with both the batsmen and bowlers contributing with remarkable performances. The Pakistan team fielded their best eleven with a strong pace attack and no specialist spinners on a rather flat batting pitch but they misread their own pitch and should have scored over 550 to 600 runs in the first innings. Mushfiqur Rahim was adjudged the player of the match for his magnificent 191.
