@J DYou should remember the time this happened in. There wasn't anybody doing shoot interviews or podcasts, and I for from the inside was hard to come by. Back then, Meltzer was the undisputed king of pro-wrestling info. He was seen by many (right or wrong) as some sort of authority on it.
Conrad himself would have read the newsletter and would have heard rumours of finishes changing, backstage drama and whatnot. Think of it almost like you can speak to Steven Spielberg about making a movie like ET, Jaws, or Jurassic Park. You would probably start off reading a review or two, talk about what worked and talk about potential criticisms.

Man, kurt angle is one of the most humble professional wrestlers in history and he never thinks about himself. he even jumped at the idea for chris jericho to win the undisputed championship instead of him. I rate him as the greatest pro wrestler of all time.. the man could do everything, wrestle, talk on the mic, knows how to draw heel heat, which is why he was the fastest person ever to advance to mainevent scene and win the wwe heavyweight title.. the only weakness i could think of is when he played a good guy, it didn't feel right. it felt forced at times.

@Chris Jones That is one aspect. He has suffered more than one concussion in WWE. It's not good to have a concussion and to continue physical activity. Lot of Football players and Boxers show evidence of brain damage when they get older. Once you get one, it is easier to get them.
A concussion (also known as a mild traumatic brain injury, or mTBI) : your immune system causes inflammation near the site(s) of injury. Regions of your brain affected by the concussion suffer from a temporary breakdown of tiny structures in and around those cells.
During that time, those cells don’t get enough oxygen to power the normal signaling your brain does on a regular basis. When you try to do something that those cells govern - like reading or balancing - they won’t be able to accomplish the task. So, other neural pathways will pick up the slack, even though it’s a less efficient path for that information to take. If you’ve fully recovered from a head injury, your brain will go back to using the normal pathways for any given process. The more times you’ve experienced brain trauma, the more likely you are to have long-lasting symptoms because of your brain’s failure to return to normal. The long-term effects of repeated concussions can be responsible for everything from headaches to personality changes to forgetfulness. This condition is often known as post-concussion syndrome.
So yeah, I hope he does not suffer long term effects from his time in WWE.

Love him but he's literally wrong about half the events of the match. Steph was behind him for the hammer shot and the rock was there during the ko.

Nobody knew to give a guy a day off after a serious concussion? As the son of someone who was a doctor for a minor-league hockey team in the nineties, I can tell you that this is false.

Wrestling has went from Undertaker, HHH and Stone cold to Logan Paul fighting KSI dressed up as a Prime bottle. How you people still stick with this sh1t as this point is beyond me

He's also sober now and has concussion history and it's going to make him sound a bit off. As someone in the same boat I can see it's a bit of anxiety when you were as big of an addict as Kurt it's hard to speak as fluedently as before.

@@Sky_Blaze I'm pretty close to him myself and I've had several concussions also and I don't think I sound like that although I'm a little bit younger(41).I do have issues with my memories and my body moves when I don't want it to sometimes as well.

This is fucking scary. Imagine they dragged him out to continue after all of that. Poor dude didn’t even know where the fuck he was. WWE sucks and are so unprofessional. They got and continue to get away with murder. I hope that dude who ran for President Andrew Yang or whatever his name is, gets some position of power so he can go after them like he promised. They got away with too much for too long.

I’m glad I wasn’t watching wrestling during this period. The sledgehammer gimmick was poorly thought out. How is that not supposed to kill somebody instantly

You're watching wrestling during a period where nothing is taken seriously. While the sledgehammer gimmick was dumb, the rest of the stuff made more sense than today's wrestling.
