I think it's a no but it doesn't hurt to ask but can you actually connect the ace pro to the flow the same way you connect your phone to this gimbal ? Otherwise which do you choose to connect to the insta360 app for the best results possible ?
Sadly not, you could connect to the app on the phone but it wouldn’t know to use the AcePro camera and would just default to the phone. As we can do remote viewing of the AP on our phones I could see it being possible for insta360 to make it work. But not possible atm

Yup there is, so the Flow has this cool inbuilt mini tripod but if you leave it pushed in, you can use any 1/4 mount with it. I tried it with a PGYTech Mantis pod which worked Ok. But you probably would want something more ridged if that makes sense.
I would like to ask if the stabilization of the ACE Pro was turned on and if so, to what level. Or just the gimball is stabilized. It can be used at the same time and it takes out the movement shown at the step, or it can only be used separately. Thanks
It's got really good stabilisation which I think helps with just a selfie stick. I use it sometimes with the MantisPod and it works really well. This video was more of an experiment than practical use. Did you get the AcePro in the end?
You can rotate it to look the other way by using the trigger on the Flow. It’s the same as it would if you had a mobile phone on it too. You can also switch from landscape to portrait.

Love to see the Flow with Ace Pro in PureVideo mode doing some night footage, I think that's where the Gimbal would really make a difference.

Some people use Acepro 360 with selfie stick ( without gimbal ).
And the results are good..how they do that?

Does the actual lens have to be facing you at all times? Or can you rotate the handle to point outward?

can you rotate and do full round of 360 angle?
Sadly the Insta360 flow does not do a full 360 spin. It pulls off a decent barrel roll effect but if you wanted to do 360+ it would not work.

Because UA-cam? lol stuff gets compressed to hell when uploading online.
