Going AFK in Hardcore is just asking for death.
AFK = Asking for Kill
For real. Just log out if you gotta go.

I cannot controll myself. Having a furry PFP is asking for death aswell.
Still safer than a lot of these other players though. There must be some kind of "play with a bucket on your head and oven mitts" challenge when you watch a lot of these deaths.
Thunder Bluff bridges have more bodies than some of the toughest elites out there
Alongside the UC elevator. I always see someone new being dead there.
Imagine going afk in a dungeon in Hardcore and thinking "Everything is gonna be fine". Sometimes you don't get what you deserved, but what you looked for.
The "fuck around and find out" meter is off the charts right now.
I like how every HC comp always has some idiot falling to their death in that one area with the bridge.

There is a Safespot btw. most People dont know. U can swim behind the Wheel (while jumping to avoid dmg) and jump up between Wheel and Wall, then u can Hearth out

It’s crazy how elevated the game becomes when we (the players) are forced to socialise on it. Like having to work with strangers to do simple levelling quests, or asking people to look after you while you go afk for a few minutes like in the start of this video. Just puts so much more value on having other players around, it doesn’t feel like everyone is having their own singleplayer experience, but rather a more shared one. Really cool and I wish retail was more like this (not hardcore, just more risky, and also rewarding for grouping up and talking). It would be a big change but I’d welcome it.
It's crazy how hardcore wow can teach you to socialise as little as you can and only stick to the people you trust and know they are good. Otherwise you can encounter stupid dungeon death (if you're not petri + leave group pussy ofc), or what will be really epic - death during 4 horsemen boss fight, because warrior that was tanking Zeliek knows how to get the most FUN in hardcore.
why giving a bonus to players that play in group with buffs, split aggro etc??? This is nonsensical point of view for weak mindset players ( as much as i love playing in group, solo players should be rewarded for obvious reasons, the main one being that the game is harder with no help ).
To defend my friend vizou the tauren that fell off, he was just autorunning and looked away a few seconds but it was already too late... I agree that autorunning in thunder bluff is pretty stupid though :p
Clarification at @5:16 he didn't loot the mob he got stunned by the curse. In satyrnaar you get a curse that give you random heart attacks for 3 min and the stun last about 6 seconds and he kept getting hit by the curse proc.
how can he have heart attacks if he's undead
I don't know how asmon doesn't know about the Chest Pains, it's such a pain in the ass to do that quest every time.
@@randomdeliveryguy Asmon doesnt know shit, he kept asking why that war didnt have sweeping strikes when you dont get that ability till level 30 lol.

Man, can you imagine trying to play Hardcore back in actual Vanilla when everyone's PCs were shit, and most players were still kids/teenagers living at home with their parents who had to go AFK whenever they were called on? Not much excuse for modern players, certainly in terms of lag-deaths. Even weak/average modern systems are way better than the ones most people had back then.
Anyone else think Asmon is looking healthier? Maybe it's the lighting.
Yea he clearly gained some weight in the last few months which in his case is definitly a good thing since he was extremly skinny

0:53 really isn't. If you're going to AFK on a HC character anywhere but a city (like AFKing in a dungeon, no less), you DESERVE to die. It's natural selection.

Not only did that hunter botch his feign death vs the drake, he also didn't hit wingclip once.
@@Sinker_ I don't know what to tell you, but the video evidence says otherwise. You exit feign with 101 mana, then spend 20 to cast aotm, leaving you with 81 mana, enough to try wing clipping twice, but no further mana is expended until you die.
I used to farm black dragonscales off that camp. The black drakes are not that big of a deal normally, but zero mana and pure panic like that are guaranteed death.

so if you fall in the fire, couldn't you theortically altf4 and submit a character move ticket before you die? or do you just end up dying anyway?

So many of these deaths are preventable by just... not AFKing... or having keybinds.
Those Bleakheart Satyrs are deadly
I always skip them because they have a debuff that procs a 4-5 second stun which can chain after each other, and that's not to mention the heavy damage they deal.
I have one HC character of each class and I always give those things a wide berth
Lol, Ulduar wasn't even _that_ difficult. Maybe in the re-release, but in original retail, it wasn't that bad. No cakewalk, but not excruciatingly painful either
For the clip at 10:40, he couldn’t have slow falled him. Slow fall is only for the caster back in classic.
Do you people know how pulls work in HC dungeons and raids? The healer says when it's ok to go. The tank shuts the fuck up, sits down and waits.
3:19 encountered those a lot on my mage during first classic char, some kinda weird windfury. the raptors in arathi highlands have that too and i thiiiiiink the ogres too?

Couldn't the 60 mage have lived? He was 60, he could ask for help. Can't you instantly log off and then get a summoner crew to bail you out?
@@arohk4415 If you can instantly log off, that means you can stay logged off till iceblock and coldsnap have refreshed. Also there is HP potion and fire ward. Could easily survive for 20+ seconds, again, if the mage could instantly log off.
@@user-ue6iv2rd1n You can accept summons while in the lava. You are not in combat. Happened all the time back in classic in MC. But it would hing on if he could instantly log out to coordinate the summon. Think it should be possible since he is in IF.
How to instantly log out? Can't to hearth?
@@maomekat2369 When you are in rested zones, you don't have to wait to logout. Idk if that changes while in lava. As for hearth, damage will interrupt hearthing

Had a paragon 200 DH on hc diablo 3 all solo self found way back dc'd during a GR push and died.
Honestly the scenes where they just literally walk off a cliff are the best.
yeah I noticed something with the mobs, if you kite them long enough they like reckoning you with their attacks all at once that have been queue up since the start of the kite.
These the type of people to play in first person if they could.
On retail I was healing and was spammed a pushback move by some random mob in the middle of a big pull lol. Hit me like 5-6 times to the other end of the hallway. We almost wiped. Everyone got so low on hp
20:50 Ulduar was too hard, or they are close to Full BiS and are bored. I fall under the latter.
just started HC a couple days ago, played wow on/off for 12y, multiple CE's
1:50 those fountains are all over Warcraft and are the easiest reset ever, I’m surprised he missed it

I actually play zoomed in like those guys. Give me flak for it, but it makes the experience feel more immersive for me. That said, I main Hunter, so I can afford to make stupid decisions.
It also reminds me of playing as a kid cause I never figured out the zoom function lol

The hunter used feign death with the mob still on top of his frost trap, which was why he probably stood up right away, he knew the feign wouldn’t work. You need to wait until the mob is not standing on a trap effect before using FD
He could not have slow-falled the tauren in TB, classic mage is self cast only

It’s not ALL the hunters fault with the feign death thing. You’ve always had to stop THEN hit feign death. Doing it normally like you cast a spell insta-cancels it because your movement is still going in the system when you hit the key. Even if you 100% let up before. Wow is still wow.
I don't feel bad for the first one. If you go afk, just log out. It's free. It's safe. Why take that risk? I can't event find words strong enough to describe how stupid this is. Proof that you can never trust anyone in this game.

If you die from being AFK, you 100% deserved it. Don't AFK in dangerous locations.
