not only is this song genius thematically (the nasty juxtaposed to this bright and whimsical tone) but donna lynn’s voice is so powerful and beautiful, she’s also mixing together the comedy with the Oprah vocals perfectly, on top of that she manages to transition perfectly to the somber ending so smoothly that it feels like this entire song has been leading to this point as if she wasn’t singing about dumb cramps one line prior, incredible
