I know this will be fun to introduce the Clark to this archaic gaming. He can live the history lesson!! Thanks for taking me back to great memories of Middle and High school times!! NES was my first system as well. The SNES/Genesis was out but my family didn't have much money; it came as a blessing because I got the NES as a gift. The first Zelda is my forever love. Glad you enjoyed the Ataris! I have two 2600s and I need to get around to setting one up. The oldies stand the test of time (ok, ET is hilariously bad). Maybe Clark will like some of these games.
I love to hear video game origin stories! We were very late to the NES as well. Got it Christmas of 1990. I think Clark would enjoy River Raid. It’s a great game. Or I could punish him with ET lol
Love my Atari 2600 too. Great you are keeping it and hopefully we get to see you clean it up! Try getting hold of demon attack if you like Phoenix. Also, in Phoenix if you press down on the joystick your shield comes on for a few seconds.

Thanks for hightlighting the 7800...I had a original 2600 but never did play the 7800. This is definitely triggering the NOSTALIGIA!! 😀 The E.T....wow the graphics were so great then...LOL PacMan was so much fun and Space Invaders is the one I wasted so much time playing...great memories!! $50 dollars for all of that is fantastic. Congratulations!! What a great find!! It will be fun to introduce the Clark to them. I hope Wednesday is a great day!! 🙂
Atari was before my day, my first console was the Sega Genesis then PlayStation 2 followed by SNES, Wii, PS3 and PS4 for portable handheld Sega Game Gear, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advanced SP.
I have the Lego version of the 2600 it is really cool and I love it the game cartridges look realistic and the controller does to also love the videos keep it up😊

It’s the videos. I just do reselling as a hobby. My wife is also a teacher so she is a big help with the security that comes with a regular job and health insurance and such. We worked hard to pay off our debt so our monthly outlay is minimal and allows us to spend money that other people spend on monthly payments doing some traveling as a family.

The 2600 is the gaming system from my childhood. I was 7 in 1979. Gen x childhood was the best. I love space invaders and frogger.

I was a bit too young so I missed out on it.

I missed the SNES. Went from NES to Genesis then N64.

You have to buy Food Fight, Donkey Kong Junior, Mario Bros, and Fatal Run! Those are fantastic 7800 games! Food Fight is my favorite.
