Psychic abilities are a natural function of the soul and spirit, while intellect is a natural function of the ego. Carol Dryer is a psychic consultant whose clients include many well-known figures in entertainment, publishing, psychology, science and the arts. Her work is described in Tina Turner's autobiography, I Tina. Ms. Dryer discusses the distinction between the ego, the soul and the spirit.
Carol and her husband were my best friends, and have influenced so many lives for the better. Sadly, Carol is no longer with us on this earth plane. I have been tremendously blessed to have known her.
I´m sorry for your loss. May I ask, did she have a school or something? I can´t find any information regarding her online, I would love to know more about her teachings.
How did she die?
Many years ago I went to see Carol for a session. I went back again for another one. I also referred two friends to her. I found her to be nothing less than professional, competent and empathetic. Over the years I found what she told be to be highly accurate. I am so sorry to hear about her moving on.

First heard about her in the book The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot - the most amazing book I've ever read.

I agree with you totally since I knew her personally for about 4 years, amazingly accurate. She read your Aura and could tell you things about you that she had absolutely no other way to know. An amazingly gifted person.

I met Carol many years ago through a friend. She was married to the inventor of Laserium Ivan Meyer. Carol did a few readings for me in my twenties. She told me I was going to marry someone in "a ivory tower" and was going to travel and be very happy. I married a professor who taught at Harvard. She was a delight with a light joyful soul that made you laugh. I feel blessed to have known her.
She explained it so simple. Thats all we need to know to understand MEANING to LIFE in the material temporal world.

Thanks for insight into the 3-part aspects of the ego, soul & spirit. It's a clear shot into seeing how the ego can push things of the soul & spirit aside leaving many with empty lives. Even, when they have successfully pursued goals that should satisfy.
Thankfully, we have the capacity to grow in the spirit as it was intended. from ego-centric lifestyles toward genuine goodness of heart, wholeness and fullness of life!
It is God's plan for all to know his ways. A unity of spirit. a oneness with all in the spirit of love.

I really enjoyed a past discussion she had on this show, although this excerpt is like a 101 course on the ego for me and I don't find much applicability. I can give praise when I feel it's due.
She sees auras and can diagnose illnesses accurately.
Wonderful. I would offer the term "superego" to refine the message given here about moral injunctions and others.

Jeff, Carol passed away several years ago. I was trying to find her, as well. Sending prayers of thanks her way for such a wondrous presentation. It must have been a treasure knowing her.

I like everything she's saying but does she have to refer to "the father". It seems like shes not coming from an organized religious viewpoint. Why does she say that, out of habit?

The ego and the intellect are the two aspects of humans/animals that ensure our physical survival all through time so as soon as she downplays them I'm out of here. I had high hopes that maybe she was real but...oh well. Way too much thinking, not enough "being.'
Sorry, but you have missed the point. I personally knew her, and found her to be a fantastic person as she totally proved to me how accurate her messages and readings were. She totally nailed it, but you wouldn't understand, obviously, by your uninformed, negative reply.

You have made a serious mistake in your warped thinking about life. Hopefully, you will find that particular something that will allow you to see the truth. I knew Carol personally in 1980 through 1985 while in California, and she was totally real, and she absolutely proved it to me by telling me things about my life that she could not possibly know otherwise, very accurate. She told me I was leaving California, and she described my new motorhome, right down to the color. She totally changed my outlook on psychics, the real ones, not the phonies. I have been looking for her for a long time, and today, I found this.

loved her 'take' on ego desires, wants, soulfulness. But the 'coming down from on high' to be born, again, religion ruins her sacred statements. There has never been ON HIGH'ness from some place. We are of earth, for the earth, from the earth Mother born out of her womb NOT dropped in by a deity of dogma out in space. I truly believe folks, once this human world here starts worshiping the earth and looking down vs UP into an idiotic heaven 'scape, we'd care for the planet better. But the idea and intention of transcending to a difft place in the sky destroys the need to maintain our plain of existence right here. Nobody comes down to be born we are born out of mother earth.
