Great sermons! The music is very distracting. Would it be possible to please please not have music in the background? Maybe use it if it so necessary for the first few seconds then fade out so we can hear Abouna's message. Thank you
Why should it be surprising that a Coptic Orthodox Priest reads books authored by C.S Lewis?! Don't we the followers of Orthodox Christianity read?! And we are allowed to read any book that is congruent to our Holy Scriptures and glorifies OUR ALMIGHTY HEAVENLY FATHER. The idea that Orthodox Christian Priests are not allowed to read or quote Christian inspired writing is misguided. I am a devoted Tewahdo Orthodox Christian and I see nothing wrong with reading books written by Christian authors like C.S. Lewis.
@@ISLAM.EXPOSÉ I didn't mean any offense. I'm just always surprised at the broad appeal of C.S. Lewis. Everyone from fundamentalist Baptists to Popes reads him. It's also been my impression that Orthodox in general are rather insular, and generally don't read outside of Orthodoxy, let alone read an Anglican.
@@ianwilson1518 Hello again. I understand and no offense taken even though your impression of the Orthodox is absolutely wrong. We have never been nor are we insular at all. We care to know about lots of things and subjects like languages, science, philosophy, math, cultures, history etc just as long as those things do not clash with our faith which happens to be our reason for living, our one and only priority. C.S Lewis' mass appeal is due to the fact that his books are always congruent to Holy Scripture and yes, he was Anglican but you should know he was also somewhat of a theologian. He authored lots of books that were completely inspired by the Holy Bible and we the Orthodox Christians love each one of his books dearly. We have no problems reading outside of our faith and infact we even read the Quran to find out more about the faith of the Muslims. We disagree with other Christian sects on various issues but disagreeing with them does not make us insular.
Thank You Father !!!
Thank you again for your encouragement and direction. Glory to Jesus Christ.
Amen🙏
I love the true gospel and hope for reconciliation of all mankind . Praise Christ
