Mike Gallagher I recently received a Playbulb. It's easy enough to connect it to my iPhone via Bluetooth and play music. Unfortunately though it doesn't connect to the apps Playbulb or Playbulb X. It simply doesn't appear in the devices list. This means I cannot control the light of the bulb. I found many other people with the same problem, like you. Have you found a solution?
The app doesn't work because it's the lite version, I now know there are three different ones this one a colour, and a standard light like this one but can be controlled by the app
can you have these in different rooms and connect to only that bulb. I want to get some for the house but don't want to have to going all threw the house in case someone is watch tv
If it's an indoor/outdoor bulb it might come in handy for playing spooky sounds by the front door on Halloween.

I bought two from home depot, my kids says it works well and I can say it for back ground music. But I noticed that Wish sells them also.

Light controls would probably work on Android or Windows Phone - BT related issue... iOS's BT connectivity is rather lacklustre.

That's great for creeping out someone you pickup from bar. Set hankypanky-mode for red lighting and some 80's porn music.
