    It's not just your channel's subscribers what's going up, your playing level seems to also be exponentially increasing. Congratulations for all of that. It's really interesting and educational to see you playing. By the way, your opponent on this match looked like Alexander Zverev!

    Great game. Fantastic forehand. You really lead game with your anti spin so well. Must try and emulate your forehand more..it wins so many points. I play a similar game to you haha no where near as good. Ive lately been trying to hit more with my anti. But I think I'd be better just improving my forehand loops and drive with normal rev rubber, and lead with anti on backhand. Occasionally twiddling. Great vid thanks. 👍

      Thank you! 🙂
      I win 80% of points with forehand. This means that you have to put your focus on improving fh skills first. Anti it’s just a matter of timing on the ball. 😉

    Great match Andrea! I am really liking your style of playing. I have a question, I will soon be getting toni hold anti spin rubber, and I really don't know what to expect. Are there any good videos(apart from your ones of course) or blogs that explain how to do strokes with anti rubbers? And also what is your opinion on the toni hold anti, like what is it good for? Cheers from Bosnia and stay awesome :D

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 роки тому +1

      Hello my friend!! :)
      Toni Hold is a great classic (it means it has a some friction on its surface) anti.
      I played in the past a very spectacular match against a chopper. He uses Toni Hold on forehand! :)
      As you can see it has amazing control and gives you the opportunity to be aggressive too. I leave you the link of the match:

    What rubber would you recommend for me? I wound say I'm intermediate player, I don't know what to go for anti/shortpip/longpip? I like playing defensive with the occasion attack, (all round player) is there such a rubber that gives alot of spin but not to aggressive? Please help, thank you 🙏

    • @halosas9854
      @halosas9854 2 роки тому +1

      Maybe a medium pips out would be good for that? They are all-around rubbers which can do attacking and defending, they are not as good at attacking as short pips or defending as long pips but they can still do both, like long pips is not good for attack and short pips is not so good at defense(depends on the rubber tbh). So yea, that's my opinion, you should look into medium pips

    What do you think are the differences of long pips and anti-spin. What do you think is better at each. I am a beginner and I was wondering which I should use.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 роки тому

      Hi Nick!
      They both should be used close to table.
      In my opinion long pips are more versatile and easier to play.
      Anti are more deceptive rubbers.

    • @nickj2019
      @nickj2019 2 роки тому

      @@AndreaAschi Ok! Thanks for your response. I think I will try out both to see what I like better, but I am leaning towards playing long pimples. Do you know if I should play LP OX or with sponge? If with sponge, how thick of sponge?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 роки тому

      If you want to play close to the table you should play OX long pips.
      Long pips with sponge (tipically 1.0mm) are more suited for classic defense far from table. It depends on your preferences 😉

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 роки тому

      Hello!
      ABS is not good for chopping away from the table.
      You should opt for a classic anti like Butterfly Super Anti or Yasaka Anti Power. 😉

    • @csababors8809
      @csababors8809 2 роки тому

      Thank you very much. I used to play with Juic Neoanti, Nittaku Best anti or Tibhar Ellen. They were not disturbing but also godd for attacking and chopping too. When i played, there were no anti from Neubauer, but some of my friends played with Neubauer long pips. Although they were not good players, won matches after they changed soft. I haven't played for years but i would like to start, and now neubauer's antis are seemed to be as disturbing as their banned long pips. Now i am looking for an anti with wich i can play with the same style as earlier. Now i know that newest antis are not suitable. On the other hand: how many antis have you tried? Do you have experience with Toni Hold anti? Not Joola version. Thank you

    I have a 1 question to you, about the anti.
    You are the owner of Dr neubauer A.B.S and some Der materialspezialist anti's as well, and my question is about, what's the difference between those, and (in your opinion) which brand makes better anti's Neubauer or der material? Let me know, your opinion, about that ! (im playing with A.B.S 2 Soft 2.5mm)

    • @AndreaAschi

      Hi my friend!
      I have a lot of experience only with A-B-S/pink sponge. I tried others antispin only for a few hours.
      For this reason I would tell you that the best is my setup...but what I like maybe you don’t like. 😉

    Ciao Andrea, scusa il disturbo. Sono un neofita del tennis tavolo ma sto già provando diversi stili di gioco compreso difensore moderno con puntino corto sul rovescio, quanti giocatori vedi così al tuo livello? Se riesco ovviamente a giocare bene quanto posso essere competitivo? Magari è una domanda difficile ma ecco, grazie comunque per un eventuale risposta

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 роки тому +2

      Ciao Edoardo!
      Al mio livello posso dirti che il 90% dei giocatori usano 2 liscie. Questo é in gran parte dovuto al fatto che nessuno é in grado di insegnare uno stile diverso da quello classico. Io per esempio ho avuto insegnamenti per il gioco da attaccante, ma quando ho messo l'anti sul rovescio ho dovuto fare tutto da autodidatta.
      Se in palestra hai qualche bravo giocatore di puntino fatti dare delle dritte e non aver paura a chiedere consigli.
      Alla fine, per diventare bravini, quello che conta veramente (per lo meno in Italia dove il livello medio é basso) é la voglia di migliorare e la costanza. Le gomme giocano un ruolo secondario. 😉
