Great video, very cleanly done. I’m really enjoying your channel. I find that if you choke up on the axe as near to head as you can on the shoulder when you “throw” the axe into the air for the apex, then slide your hand down to the throat when it’s time to put effort into the chop, it saves effort and is more efficient. Whereas the strain of lifting from the throat with both hands feels unwieldy due to the weight of the head. Good luck on your channel!

Do you keep spare eyeballs in your first aid kit? If you chop/split enough wood without eye protection you’re going to need one.
