Barber Road shouldn’t have a problem with it either. He ran on an off track before, I swear in BR wins I’m not listening to any of these experts any longer!!!
Well you were right in the fact that a longshot would win the race. I don't think any "expert" predicted Rich Strike to win. I wonder if Barber Road will run in the Preakness?
@@Weekendhandicapper good question. Ortiz did say he would run in the Belmont. Idk about the Preakness. More ground for him is just what he needs.
I think if Reylu would have had Barber road more forward in the 2nd turn he would have got 2nd behind RS. Either way goes to show that in horseracing any horse can have their day!

All I know is if it rains…TOSS Tiz the bomb is an automatic toss! Turf horse on the slop is a bad idea…possible BET to finish last if your Sportsbook offers it. Great video bro! 🙌😎

I was all in on the 7 Echo Zulu. I was disappointed. I thought she would have ran well on an off track but the ran didn't come in time like they were predicted. Lost my wagers but it was cool Oaks story though.

How much rain, especially if it rains Friday as well, matters alot. Churchill drains very quickly and a couple hours of light to medium rain may not affect it much at all, especially if there's an hour or two of dry out time before post. If really wet, track will be sealed down tight and super fast. I think Modonagel and Epicenter would both run well on slop, but I'm worried about both thier trips with the posts.
Then bet on Simplification. He has the same sire and damsire as Epicenter and is in the 13 hole.
Mo , they changed starting gate I think just last year moved away from rail so it could help mo from number one,
Looks like Todd Pletcher said the 1 post still hurt Mo's chances. :-(

I was very confident in Echo Zulu winning. I was disappointed. I guess too hot of a pace and the distance did her in. But great story with Secret Oath and D. Wayne winning.

tiz the bomb is sneaking thru the back door... live longshot he will do well on dirt he will make a run for it... he is bred for this.... go with your gut feeling... he was my pick on breeders cup....didnt win but he got 2nd. like tawny port... tiz the bomb will glide over the dirt surface.

That is for another video but here are the cliff notes version. If you use DRF then look at the Tomlinson Ratings, if you use Brisnet PPS then look at the Mud %'s or Mud Ratings. Also here is a video I did a few years ago that kind of explains it.

Correct. If you like one of the many horses that I listed then you should feel good about your selection or bet. I would never make a selection purely on whether or not a horse has the pedigree for an off track. It is a minor factor that either adds or negates the other more important factors. If I said only 2 or 3 horses were bred for an off track and potentially would like the slop then I would be lying and not giving accurate information.
