Hi Kerry!!! I am a huge fan of you and all your body of works. You're an inspiration to so many people and I pray that GOD will continue to cover you and your family on your life's journey. I love and applaud you for choosing to stand in your truth without allowing outside forces to define you. I can't wait to receive my book due for delivery on October 18th in Windhoek, Namibia. Interestingly enough, that date marks the 3rd year anniversary of my Mothers Homegoing. I know she would have loved reading it too. Keep being the amazing person that you are - love Delina from Windhoek, Namibia.

So crazy I did not know Kerry Washington is a Bronx grrl?! As a Bronx grrl from the South Bx I hated it growing up bc we were so poor, but now, as an adult, I love, respect and deeply appreciate how I learned to be Fearless. And grrl Crotona Pool was our pool and in the 80s 💩🤣🤣🤣. I would love to have a full circle moment with my hometown and have contemplated "the how" many, many times. You ladies def have me thinking. Thanks for walking in your full Bronxite Stride. Love y'all both.
Yes, Essence and Jet magazines were a staple!! I worked in the Bronx for 10 years. Also lived in Riverdale for 7 of those 10 years. Best years of my career. Best Borough in my opinion. Nothing but great times. What was said about New Yorkers is totally true. Some of my best friends are New Yorkers. They are truthful and loyal people.
BX stand up! “Thicker Than Water” is now available at kerrywashingtonbook.com and retailers near you

🤨 pet name? 🧐 street you grew up on? Really? What else do you want? A/S/L? DON’T EVER ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS WHILE RECORDED. Just don’t answer them.
Kerry's "once upon a time" short story is touching 🥹
