LOL,LOL, I was so afraid with the new graphic engine, my pc is a potateo category, CPU ATHLON 2.7 3 CORES, GPU 1050 TI OC, 12 GB RAM, but i am amazed it works much better than before, my CPU is way above minimum required 3.0 Ghz and minimum 4 cores, but i am AMAZED, my 3 core CPU on 60-70 % maximum, not like before almost 100% and huge spikes , stutterring, drops from 40-50 fps to 10 on some ocassions. Another thing before i had ANTIALIASING set to low, now is high, before I had 300% scalling now I am 400% , only grass density I put it on low, mirrror quality HIGH, mirror distance HIGH, mirror resolution HIGH, I AM SURPRISED , I was thinking I will be playing it on minimum or medium and scalling set to 200% , but no is so so much better.I also use PROMODS , 8K SKY RESOLUTION or something, GRASS 4K , TREES IMPROVED. CANT BELIEVE HOW STABLE IT IT AND SO SMOOTH, sometimes goes at 20 fps for few seconds , in towns , but overall I can say I GET 35-40 FPS on average like 70 % of time playing. Another thing: of course because of the CPU I had bottlenecks , my 1050TI is more powerfull for that CPU , but now the CPU is more relaxed not taking the load so much and GPU is way up utilization, 60-80 % so its taking the hard work not like before the update.Either I am very fortunate with my RIG either SCS did an amazing optimization!!!!!
This game is amazing, the ONLY thing that would impress me more is if it was in 1:1 scale, now THAT would be awesome. If MSFS 2020 can do it, ATS can too. Just use the same system as the flight sim.
You'd need the IBM's supercomputer to run it to the street-view details. However, what would be possible (but SCS won't do that) is to make ETS3 with Unreal Engine 5 and a bit bigger and more detailed map of Europe. Instead they keep milking this 12 year old game, just like Rockstar did with GTA 5.
As long as people like me keep buying the 2013 game and it's DLC's, why not milk it some more? I purchased the game twice , in 2013 and now again in 2024. Plus 4 DLC do far. No regrets.

my guy textures would be super inaccurate, have you tried zooming in on the ground while playing MFS

someone explain me what is low and high in gears ? how it differs from normal 1-6 gears
Low gear is for going up hill or mountains then High is for high speeds on level or fast roads
And you can use low gear to go down hill
