Given was such a trigger in ghe heart for me. Yuki and Mafuyu story was a tregedy and Akihiko and Ugetsu relationship was so sad and Haruki one sided love for Akihiko wad so heartbreaking. When Mafuyu sing the song for Yuki, I was crying so much

Yes banana fish was quite intense. It's more than a bl anime it's a whole new world experience. I'm still recovering after a week of watching it but I could never be more grateful to watch banana fish and to know ash❤

i cannot express this enough but 1. watch no.6 and 2. if you liked the anime but it was confusing PLEAAAASE read the manga (or even the novel!!!) like it's so so so worth it. i love the anime to pieces but the original ending of the series is in the manga and it's so worth it. i consider given, no.6 and banana fish to be the bl holy trinity so if u liked or were deeply moved by one pleaaaase watch the others. worth noting that people who've watched banana fish first have said nezumi and shion remind them of ash and eiji but with a... happy ending. i'm still devasted and cry for hours but! it's worth it i promise
