The fact that the average person with no professional dance or performance training was able to perform at such a high level of professionalism with a legendary conductor of salsa such as Tito Puente and it went off without a hitch is a testament to the skillset of instruction and direction by Eddie Torres. It's one thing to dance and perform but it's a completely different tool box and skillset to teach someone from scratch and direct them. I'm sure it was a mixture of some professional salsa dancers or some who might have performed and danced before but it seemed most were not experienced that way. I also love TP's energy towards the dancers, you can so tell he started out as a dancer. He looked like he wanted to jump out there and dance with them. So thrilling. Also loved the gentleman solo couple in the white suit whose cumberbun fell off he was bring PR to the stage. Such awesome feeling and dynamic performance.
