I liked the way the mix was this year it allowed for solos to pop and let carter blend and let him cut through with exceptionally amazing performance opposed to mic tricks. Which really makes a carter moment 1000x cooler

Me puse a estudiar esta cancion en especifico de la banda, atraves de los años, y se ve como la banda ha ido creciendo tanto musicalmente y la conexion entre ellos es genial tanto de dave con carter y del bajista,, y al final los solos de sax y trompeta ufff,,, se notan mucho mas estudiadas y fluidas las improvisaciones que en años anteriores,,,, no digo que antes estuvieran mal, sino que ya eran mounstros pero se nota que han ido creciendo mucho mas......... al momento de improvisar y conectar entre todos al final es magic

Adam Małysz i thought I did, too. But Buddy Strong has brought a long overdue element to this band. Sucks to lose Boyd but I think they picked up a great replacement

I was there, and well they played great, I really miss the violin aspect of the sound. They need a replacement for Boyd.
Yes, totally agree.
Buddy is really awesome though. This track doesn't show it off, but he adds a lot. IMO Boyd was really weak and not making the band better, just filling his space on stage and doing enough to get a check. I know others out there feel similar, and Dave even said in an interview he felt like they were stagnant and Buddy rejuvenated the energy.
@@ScottBaietti well yeah but he did a pretty nice job filling in but I don't think the keyboard is ever going to replace the violin in my opinion for 25 years I was such a signature element of their sound I don't think you have to have Boyd but I think you have to have someone heck you could have both the violin in the keys if you want they've done it before but I definitely feel like they need a violin back that's just my personal opinion

I think his bass is mixed well. Are you using headphones or a speaker system? You won't be able to hear bass with phone speakers...
