I make tea from scratch. All my fruit and vegetable scraps go into a pail of cold water. It sits for days as I add more and stir it regularly. I add cinnamon stir, strain dilute and boom! I need to add some molasses although mine is lovely and frothy and yummy lol as is. I learned some stuff.
I loved your presentation. Very, very good. It’s short and everything you need to know is on there. I’ve watched it quite a few times. And taken notes! Thanks friend.
Hi Dan, great video!! Totally enjoyed watching your step by step brewing and the links you placed in the comment section for sourcing all the materials. Initially came across your "Tips And Tricks For Planting Out Hugelkultur Garden Beds | + Worm Bin Update!" as in addition to raised beds, I am researching the Hugelkultur technique. My garden is currently being setup from scratch (converting section of lawn to garden area), so still looking to acquire useful tips and your video's thus far have been very helpful. I have been doing vermicomposting for a few years but just applying the castings to my indoor plants. Now I can make my own compost tea using the information you shared. Keep up the great job of posting videos, updates and location of resources - Thank you AJ.
Wow! New to all of this as I am, I found myself a little lost down a virtual plethora of online rabbit holes. This has answered/solved a couple of my queries straight up. Thankyou 👍
Great video bro. Love the simple and straight to the point information. Very friendly and easy going in your video. Definitely will look out for videos. I will also have to model that build myself on day.
Dan terrific job mate. This has to be the best video on the net for this kind of tea mixture. you made it easy to follow and enjoyable to watch. well done mate. rgds Westfishos
I just watched this video and you are not answering barely any questions!! I don’t care how long ago they were asked your video is still up and the questions still remain the same. I have a question do you dilute your tea??
Thank you. You answered a question I have had for a few months...How to get Chloramines out of my local tap water for my garden. using Vit. C. I may also start using it for my household as well. Thanks.😊😊😊
Hi and thank you for a very informative video and recipe. Q. How often can I drench the soil with the tea and is it ok to spread the used worm castings into my plants?
Your video is energizing me.. I've just brewed my compost tea but in way smaller container because I just have a small front yard.. I use aren sugar (similar to molasses, it's a local ingredient) but I have no kelp liquid.. can you suggest any other ingredient that can replace kelp but also work good as well?
Great video. Appreciate it very much! How do you know vitamin C can neutralize chlorin and chlorimin in tap water? Any lab test results showing the proof?
Thanks for the awesome vid. Can you make a vid using your transfer pump to a sprinkler? Thanks! I think I have some PH issues in Lawn, so would like to boost it with the tea.
Great video. Answered a lot of my questions for my first compost tea brew in a 5 gallon bucket for my hydroponic system. That vitamin C trick was cool. 👍
Great video, really easy to follow, thanks. But what is the shelf life for this compost tea? For how long can I use this for before the bacteria die off?
Thanks for the quick and easy compost tea recipe! Question though.... what time of year do you start spraying? I'm in the foothills of CA and we are having night frost. Also, how long can you keep that batch before it starts to die off (bacterial levels)?
thank you so much for sharing! I'm just starting our vermicompost journey and starting in my tiny apartment's patio (much much smaller scale). Say I'd like to brew 5 cups water, 1/2 teaspoon molasses, 1/2 teaspoon kelp. How much worm castings should I put in? I've tried 2 tablespoons of worm castings but I don't feel like it's bubbling enough microorganisms. Am I not adding enough molasses or kelp too?
That Vitamin C powder tip is a game changer
Yes! Especially because my brews are only around 3gal. that thing would last me forever!

Great video! One thing I would add is that the vitC breaks down by the chlorine and chloramines into chlorides, which plants use as a nutrient as well
He mentioned this.
I started using a electric paint sprayer to use for foliar feeding. With the adjustable pattern makes it so easy.
That is a genius idea using your paint sprayer never would’ve thought of that thank you for the tip
They work great! Then I had to use one on a 20 acre farm 😂😂😂
I loved your presentation. Very, very good. It’s short and everything you need to know is on there. I’ve watched it quite a few times. And taken notes! Thanks friend.

Thinking about building one. If I do, I'd put a spout on the bottom of the barrel so I can just fill up watering pitchers from there.
Thank you for this video. I'm starting a 5gal of worm tea all I need is the Vit C powder. 👍😃👍

Thanks for the quick and easy compost tea recipe! Question though.... what time of year do you start spraying? I'm in the foothills of CA and we are having night frost. Also, how long can you keep that batch before it starts to die off (bacterial levels)?
