After all, the glow they're talking about is over the pupil, and the pupil is the hole where the light goes into your eyes, and the retina is in the back, so...yeah.
Same exact story for my now 2 year old son. We noticed his left eye "glowing/reflecting" back at us even when there was just a little bit of lighting. After examining the affected eye under general anesthesia, the opthamologist confirmed it was retinoblastoma and the tumor had already invaded about 80% of his eye and damaged most if not all of his vision as well. First we tried localized chemo where they administer it directly to the eye. Then after getting our hopes up when we learned it was shrinking, it eventually stopped working. Therefore leaving us with the dreadful decision in surgically removing his eye. He is currently receiving full body chemo now after the surgery to make sure that whatever remaining cancer cells that may be left is also destroyed.
My niece had retinoblastoma. Both her eyes were a different color. She was two years old at the time her parents found out. The doctors had given her a 10% chance to live even after removing her eye. She is 17 now and been cancer free for almost thirteen years now. God is great❣
My sister has a prosthetic eye now because she had Retinoblastoma. She had to get a new one every so often and a lot when she was a child and when her skull grows.
My brothers eyes glowed like this in his picture i took of him from 2012. He is fine now, and never went for a checkup. Now i am worried about him. His eyes litterally reflected like a cats eyes, we both thought it looked really cool. Hope he is ok.

By then his pupil was no longer brown it was white and you could see inside. He lost his right eye and is going thru chemo to try and save his other eye. And prevent anymore tumors from forming. Just for safety purposes, I think it's best if you go to the doctors to get it checked. I'm a medical student, and I say it's always better to get medical issues checked now rather than later. You don't want to wait until the problem gets worse and it's too late. Just get it checked by the doctors, and you'll be fine.

I have cancer and I hate it and it’s stage four and I don’t get famous and it’s super rare too and I’m a kid wow all of those are true and i coughed up blood yesterday because my cancer is growing and I’ve had 8 rounds of really intense chemo plus 6 rounds of intense chemo plus 2 rounds of not very harmful chemo plus 7 weeks of radiation treatment 3months of chemo pills that I was supposed to be on for a year but of course that didn’t work and open heart surgery I have two shot every day and I had an allergic reaction to one of my chemos yeah that’s a lot and that’s also a lot to happen in just one year there is that small part of people looking at this comment that will actually like this comment but none of them will make me famous

Covered by any insurance including Medicare and Medicaid...please if you have any history on mom or dad side don't wait....and all it does is allow your doctor to screen you carefully to make sure 😇
Wished I'd had that technology 38 years ago my son didn't thankfully have cancer but I found out he was blind in one eye because he was born with a cataract and the Dr's didn't detect it until I took him to the eye Dr and he said any Dr with a lite should have seen the pupil was red and it was to late to remove it he said after 3 months the brain signal stops!! I had never heard of cataracts in babies so if anyone out there sees this and don't realize this either make sure your babies eyes are checked!!! God bless and hope this helps!!!!!!!!
