- Invisible Disabilities are conditions or impairments that lack obvious physical representations but can significantly impact an individual’s daily life and functioning.
Here are some examples:
1️⃣ ADHD: A neurodevelopmental disorder impacting attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.
2️⃣ Autism: A spectrum of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, and communication.
3️⃣ Dyslexia: A learning disorder affecting reading, spelling, and writing, often despite normal intelligence and adequate instruction.
4️⃣ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A complex disorder causing extreme fatigue that doesn’t improve with rest and may worsen with physical or mental activity.
5️⃣ Diabetes: A group of diseases causing high blood sugar levels due to insufficient insulin production or the body’s inability to respond to insulin effectively.
6️⃣ Fibromyalgia: A disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, sleep, memory, and mood issues.
7️⃣ Crohn’s Disease: An inflammatory bowel disease causing inflammation of the digestive tract, leading to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, and malnutrition.
