I'm actually impressed how durable that yardstick is. Chucky was able to beat a human being to death with something so thin and not break it in half. Who ever made that ruler should pat themselves on the back.
Theres just something so scary about the killer killing someone in a space where you think youd be safe. Like in a classroom. You would think as a child think youd be safe from all murder. For one, school takes place during the day. Daytime always brings comfort to people. Secondly, theres always alot of people around you. So unless there was a mass shooting or murder spree, it wouldn't be illogical to feel you are safe at a school. But they ruined it with making the murder weapon a ruler. How is a little plastic doll going to beat a grown woman to death with a ruler? Unless it took like a week or something.
That shot of Andy walking all the way towards the door as the music builds in volume is really creepy and suspenseful. Later in Cult he talks about how great it is to watch his victims realize that it's really happening, that a toy is beating you to death with a yardstick
Because in the "Child's Play" universe it is demonstrated there is life after death, I wonder if Chucky ever meets any of his victims in the next world after he gets "killed" again at the end of each movie. I wonder what their conversations would be about, since presumably (until Chucky gets resurrected again) they've got eternity to have them.
His victims most likely go straight to heaven or hell depending on how they were while alive. Chucky since he still “left something behind” otherwise known as “unfinished business” he most likely remained in purgatory until resurrected again.

I like how chucky did all the efforts to find the best opportunity to possess Andy s body but thanks to teachers stupidity (locking up the doll in the closet) gave him a great chance to escape for his life risking her own good job 😂👌
First of all Ms. Kettlewell can get these kettle-hands cause she wouldn’t be pushing my head down like that😂
Poor Andy, I kind of felt bad for him. He said he'd sworn he didn't write no curse word on his homework assignment.
I’m pretty sure kids Andy’s age wouldn’t know most curse words. Unless there parents encourage their children to swear.
@Angie Reyes I know, I was just thinking logically.
You really have to appreciate what it took to make this scene, between getting Chucky to move right and getting the music synced up.

It's called a yard stick and they are pretty solid and some had a half sharp edge
The way she threw him in there, lol.
That’s the thing too! The actors can be however rough they want with the doll! It’s so cool and realistic.

Later in Cult he talks about how great it is to watch his victims realize that it's really happening, that a toy is beating you to death with a yardstick
When I was younger I used to be scared to even watch this part now that I watch it as a full grown adult I’m like how is this even scary? 😂

I OPEN THE DOOR WHEN U FIX THIS DAMN DOOR!!
