Really nice. It means I can charge an air tank to 300 bars, and regulate the output to about 150 PSI. Which means I can shoot A LOT of times with 1 filling! Really good video!
I have a similar regulator that outputs 800PSI. I need it to output about 950 PSI. So I guess I just need to add in a washer or two to shim the spring (making it stronger)?
i work with these tanks for a living, replacing those shims with a spring is a fantastic way to have a catastrophic failure of the regulator. there is a reason they have warning labels saying do not add any un-approved parts.
You dont know how regulators work do you? Having a. Weaker spring inside just means that it will close off at a lower pressure. There isnt any more strain on the reg. Plus there are burst disks on the reg. Its super safe
No..it will not compromise the safety since the original regulator itself is not any safer..i have a very bad experience with china made regulator..they are not made with strict threading standard..some might get good fruit while the other might get a bad luck.. I'm no pro by an mean but i certainly know when a high pressure thread is very loose and wiggly it shouldn't be used at all
Hello, I have the same regulator and on the contrary I would like a free output at 3000 psi, how to do with the washers? Thank you for your response. Greetings from France
l believe this regulator is basically for paintball but then can this be use directly for regular pcp without adding another valve for air transfer port? just a thought.
That remote that pushes the pin. Does it have a connection for a hose on it? I want use it to fill my pcp and was wondering if I can attach a quick disconnect fitting. If so where do I get it from?
how strong is the spring exactly ? Its´s very hard to find a spring by just knowing how it looks ;) can it be found somewhere else than just in fire estinguishers ?
I Have A Problem with This Reg Manometer, the Air is blowing out from Manometer and it Blows away the Glass that is in front Of manometer and is Leaking Air, Why Is That?
Thanks a bunch, I've been trying to find out how to regulate down to 70psi for a project I'm working on for my steampunk costume in which the co2 acts as "steam", being emitted out of my costume, from a 12gram to a hand squeeze blow off.
im gona attack a regulator to an old mini fire extingishure tank so i can just fill it up and then open the regulator until its at like 5 bar etc so it will only output whaver pressure i set the rgulator at :D
Those are Bellville washers, not shims. So you just grab some of them off of there, and pull a spring out of nowhere and put it on? Terrible explanation, with no precision or any idea of what pressure you are getting now, except that it is lower?

They are for HPA tanks, 3000 psi. This method works with any paintball regulator.
you are a life saver and have kept me out of jail thank you very much

would just outright removing some of the shims cause a similarly catastrophic failure?
At 2:45 This springs are FART strong. That answers why you wont have a catastrophic failure .

Have used this for almost a year, all good.
Hi do you have a video for test fire for this setup ?

What if i lower the input pressure to 400 psi would it work or just stop working
where did you get this regulator and how much is it

dose the strength of the spring matter at all? thanks
Can you switch the pressure gauge in hole of the pressure blow off?

Did you ever find a answer
@@madonrc83 nope but you can easily buy a paintballregulator with adjustable output pressure or just one that fits your needs
@@EuIenspiegel well i have a "fire extinguisher spring" so when tank comes will test the output lol
@@madonrc83 alright good luck then :D
what is the dimension of the washers or shims?
do we need to drill a bleed hole in this regulator?
Hi
What brand of regulator are you using?
Thanks
How much shoot i get if i use 800psi output regulator
Y si quitas todos los discos esos que presión de salida tiendria y donde lo as comprado
Of course it does :l stronger the spring higher th output pressure.
i want to set up to 2250 psi output.. how?
Is it normal for the reg to have a little rattle?
1 year ago but yeah that's normal
@@Slicks_16 lol thanks
What will be your next video @wyz2285
is the spring absolutely necessary?
yes
I Have A Problem with This Reg Manometer, the Air is blowing out from Manometer and it Blows away the Glass that is in front Of manometer and is Leaking Air, Why Is That?
Avenger Gamer Dominick gaming Lv o ring in manometer connection need to replace
If the glass in front is blowing of the manometer you should replace it
otput 900psi setting video pliz
and do you think you could do this mod to the regulator attached to hpa tanks
how did you remove the regulator from the tank?
no test result , iam doubt for this

I think yes.
I kown a guy that bought one of those, broke in one week.
No.
ebay, the cheapest one i found

ebay, 25 dollars
o yer...
I want to see how to up my 800 to 3000 not down the pressure so talk about that not that junk you talking about
What is the washer configuration for 2200 psi? Thanks
