But don’t mind me, I’ll just grab a seat and y’all just pretend I’m not here.
If you’re running third party firmware having this module is a MUST!! I can’t stress this enough.. My brother torched his flippers CC1101.. Fried it.. Don’t be like him 🤣
How did he fry his Flipper Zero ?
@@ClickClack_Bam using subghz without cc1101 module.. Jamming..
@@Thadopeera So it fried from him using it steadily?
What do you think the antennae does to stop this from frying?
I'm learning about all this so I appreciate your input.
Probably left the 5volts active. Turn it off when you don’t have a module plugged in. Those ports are vulnerable.
Or he did what is written not to do in the CFW instructions - do not extend SubGhz frequency range without proper hardware. This is disabled by default in the CFW and can only be enabled by going deep into the settings.
Being able to scan radio signals is basically the whole reason I am wanting to get a flipper. Is it possible to get an external board that does different frequency ranges? I want to be able to receive in the 150MHz band. I have seen other chips that come on boards that do this range but I am unsure whether or not the flipper will do it. I also do not care about being able to transmit on these frequencies just monitor them for noise issues.
get a software defined radio if this is something you want to do. I guarentee you will be much happier
Flipper pairs well with the HackRF One
like @Zubbbz said, just get something that's specifically made for radio signals. a flipper is a multitool, it does a lot of things, can do them decently, but a specific tool for a specific purpose will surpass it
@@rustyfisher2081most of the things flipper can do are toys, not serious hacking etc. so yeah hack rf one is the choice
So this does not extend the signal to receive car keys from further away
I'll have to check out this antennae!
going to have to look into the dark flipper firmwares.
You find anything?
Probably referring to Xtreme Firmware for flipper zero
Xtreme Firmware
xtreme is great can confirm just threw it on mine today. 3/8/2024
Thank you
Where can you buy one of these?
Where can I get one? Same place I got my flipper?
Ok.. sod it.. I wanted a Flipper but I really want one now.
Thanks Brother, us Magickians need to stick together.
Would this work with jamming codes and increase their range? Also I'm writing my own code for raido frequencies, will this alow me to use my flipper like a walkie-talkie/radio? If so could I get the link?
yes im pretty sure you can extend jamming range idk about using it as a walkie talkie tho
if youre talking about subghz jamming then yes it would increase the range as it increases the strength of the subghz signal that jams others
im making my own😅 exacly same
Maybe you can give me some guildance I tried to
Preset the flipper while I await for the antenna to arrive, I toggeled on the GPIO and went over
to Sub- Gig....I do not have Radio settings on the drop down list it goes from Frequency Analyzer to Test. Is that because I
do not have an antenna in the flipper or is there some flaw in the Murader Firmware?
There is an internal antenna, the range is limited, but it is completely functional and practical. He will not be able to use GPIO functions until you obtain a GPIO dev board. May I ask, what firmware are you using?
@@ghostexodus
I am using Murader but now am confused with your reply because I was able to go into the GPIO setting and turn it on.....Am I missing something? A program? An additional Board?
HI, I have xtreme firmware, if I set 5V ON on GPIO, then I go to SUBGHZ / Saveed and try to transmit a saved renote controller pattern, next time I go back to GPIO I find 5 volt gone back to OFF, in fact I see no improvement compared to the built-in antenna in terms of transmitting range, How is it possible to set 5v to ON permanently? thanks
From everything I’ve seen online, everyone similarly situated reports that you must turn the 5 volt back to ON each time you use it. There does not appear to be a permanent fix to this. This might be an interesting suggestion to the developers.
I have this antenna, however, when i turn 5v on in gpio, it immediately turns back off as soon as i enter into the subghz menu. I can use the antenna for jamming, but nothing else. When i turn on external module in subghz, i also turn on 5v.. however like o said, 5v will not stay on in gpio... cannot figure it out.
There's no need for 5V when using the external one. The 5V pin in some of these external antennas are touching the antenna itself. You can cut the end of the pin that's touching the antenna (If it's touching it) and plug it in. Then I don't think you need to turn 5v on
You have the solution i have the same problème
@@530jm yea, supposedly this antenna does not utilize the 5v port, therefore 5v is not necessary, this has been what i was told. i purchased a different extender from rabbit labs that works perfectly.
🤔👉Any other place to get it but Amazon??
What is the point of a cc1101?
How did you get yours to have the layout that you had when you first get it turned on.

Why don’t you cut the silicone?
Dr. FuzzyKnuckles, is that you? I think it's time for another prostate exam. After watching this video, i may need to seek another opinion.
The amazon link is out of stock, anywhere else we can get this external antenna?

what if yours doesn't have radio settings
Could you please go into the sub-GHz menu and go all the way down to test and test it with the antenna and reply and tell me the dBm? I am still deciding if I should get one or something else.
I can do that. I’m not by my antenna atm. However, if you go to my website, you can contact me directly. Drop the best way to reach you in a message and I’ll do that.
@@ghostexodus Thank you. I may do that if I am still interested, but I am now looking at just spending like $10 for the EBYTE cc1101 module and a 2.5 dbi antenna and some dupont wires.
whats the link
So hypothetically let’s say I was pointing my flipper at a Tesla. From 20-30ft as an example. Would I wanna set the Rssi to be more restrictive/precise? dose that decrease my transmission range as well? I apologize if these are stupid questions.
Edit: Im using this gpio antenna set-up
If your goal is to be able to mess with the Tesla from far away by sending signals then the RSSI threshold shouldn't be something you have to worry about. As long as you have the right signal then you're good. But let's say you want to pick up a signal from something that is close to you you would need to set the threshold to be alot stronger, and vice versa. Also not entirely sure what you mean by your question
Adjust the RSSI sensitivity to the right. That way it won’t receive signals you’re not trying to receive. How’s it working for you btw?
@@ghostexodus Thanks for the response man! Everything has been working great so far, really neat little antenna set up. Been running some rolling codes from my house to open/close the garage door
Hey I’m looking to get a flipper zero I have it ready to order but I’m still unsure if the flipper zero is worth it. What can I actually use it for in the real world without causing any big trouble?
@@NicoArias I've grown in the CS department since my last comment, and I would say it's worthwhile if you like experimenting. The more you understand about IT and computer science the more useful it becomes as both a tool and a toy as well. As far as getting in trouble it depends on what you do with it, if you write mal-indented scripts to steal passwords without permission, you could get in trouble. If you run programs to de-auth wifi or create fake portals for mal-intended purposes, you could get in trouble.
Play wisely. Best to treat it as a means of learning.
How did you get a flipper in the US I’d like to buy one but they don’t ship from website. Also don’t want to overpay obviously
@@xxposed501 thanks for reply I feel like there are maybe still cheaper options maybe I’m wrong
I just got one from the official website.
@@alexjones9308 same now that I tried again. Guess they’ll ship now sweet
This was sold on Amazon until Amazon pulled the product. It was marked up, pretty pricey there, and any third-party website is going to market up because of the high demand. Unfortunately, the best way to get it is through the website, itself, or somewhere nice enough not to try to make a buck off of you, selling theirs.
I just received mine today. I ordered it from their website directly, took about 2 weeks to arrive.
I have the same one but it doesn't fit with case did you find a solution to keep it stuck with the case?
That sucks, yours doesn't seem to be sitting flush against your rubber casing. I didn't modify mine. Does it sit flush if you remove the casing? If it does, you might try to modify the casing and see if thta helps.
@@ghostexodus it works only if I hold it down
I will buy a new case to modify it 👍
Why doesnt it work on the stock firmware? Seems to work fine on mine?
I did a little digging on this. There was a time when then Sub Ghz antenna was not supported by stock firmware, but is supposed to be fixed in upcoming releases. If anyone is experiencing issues using the stock firmware, you know its time to "upgrade" Unleased or any other dark flipper firmware.
Link to purchase please or put up your GPIO schematic.

This Russian Jammer, is it also used to block 3g signal up to 5g momentarily? Can I also fool the ultrasonic audio suppressor my neighbors have? why wont this be able to work with the stock firmware?

Why are things so expensive in america? I see so many dev board and ir booster and antenna sold online in my country for $3-$5. It's mostly for highschool classroom that teach IoT and electronic class.
Capitolism, friend. That, and scarcity. The price of the FlipperZero itself has raised exponentially because of demand. The developers know users will be willing to pay more than what it costs the build a unit. :(
@@ghostexodus well to be fair, I did pay $320 for my flipper zero and it was the cheap I can get locally without having to wait 3 weeks.
