A great routine to have is cleaning your bathroom exhaust fan. The cover is held in place with a screw or clips in most models.
Once you pull the cover off, it is easy to clean. You can clean the fan motor with a vacuum tool or brush it off with a paint brush. - Навчання та стиль

*Works amazingly **Fastly.Cool** . I love all the features and the double expansion. For once a fan is almost as tall as my window. Updated but not overly fancy.*
Thanks from 5 years in the future! :D

Thank you!! I was just trying figure out how to get the vent off. Quick rinse in the sink, dried it off and put it back on. I also used a clean paintbrush to brush the motor off.

Is there any way to remove the blade-bearing rotor for cleaning? For a design such as the Broan AER110C (for example), there are a
a few tens of the curved fan blades which have a thick layer of caked dry material, which reduces the blower's ability, if not cleaned.
It currently takes over an hour to scrape out each rotor (imperfectly) with a brush, the caked material will not budge even with a powerful
vacuum cleaner. Any suggestions for cleaning of this material will be greatly appreciated.
Thank u this video was extremely helpful

I kind of figured it had to be that easy to remove it but wasn't sure. I noticed I was able to slide it around on the ceiling. But man, the place I live in right now must have never cleaned that out before I moved in almost 10 years ago and we didn't know how to remove it this whole time. I started to notice a strong dusty smell recently and the outside of the cover seemed fine. I pulled the cover off and I can't even see the motor in there, thats how much dust has built up on the other side of the cover. I could probably stick my hand up there and pull several giant clumps of dust out. Also being as there is that large amount of dust just sitting there, I imagine the vents are probably clogged as well.
what about fan blades itself?
Hi, a damp cloth with a drop of liquid dish soap does a great job. Then rinse thoroughly.

So what do you do when your vent is like glued with ceiling? Like if I try to remove it I’ll be ripping the fan from the ceiling.
Hi, if you don't see a thumb screw it most likely has clips like the cover in the video. Use a small pry bar to work it loose from the paint.

I'm guessing we should cover our eyes before attempting this 😆🤓
What is the brand of that exhaust fan?
Hi, this is a Nautilus.

Can you get shocked by touching anything in the ceiling vent area while vacuuming?😬
Hi, there should be no exposed wiring. Most motors are plugged into a socket in the fixture.

A close up shot of the brackets and how those springs fit into them would have been a useful thing.
Thanks!
