I actually stayed at meet boutique and next day drove to khao sok and also stayed at the the greenery same as you guys! Was worth all the traveling to get to this hidden gem❤
The last week it has natural disater here.There're group 23 foreigner and 2 guide tour go to explore the cave and suddenly heavy rain and torrential though the cave and everyone stuck in. Eventually the security of Khao sok national park could help them except Thai guide tour and unlucky he wasn't survived.Thai guide tour has transgress the rules of the park that not allowed go to the cave in rainy season.
Additional F.Y.I Thai people hear the gibbons sound like Pua~Pua which means hubby in Thai. So the gibbon(chanee in Thai) is the slang word for the Chic or woman because it always call for its couple 😅.

In the past 17year ago there 's a massive disaster liked this and have 8 tourist dead.
So sad. You have to always be aware of Mother Nature.
